Oh my shadow’s running
Leave me behnd
The room is spinning
Twisting and turning
Going every direction I wanted to go

Scared to move
Scares to think
But I thought
And I thought of bad things
Bad things to me

Put that razor down!
My shadow’s running
Trying to free itself from me
From my mind
Pulling on my arm to save me

What’s already dead can’t be saved
But my shadow tried
One inch cut
Deeper
A bottle of soap falls
My shadow tried

Another inch cut
Deeper than the first
Frantic knocks on the door
It’s locked, why wouldn’t it be?
My shadow succeeded

Waterfalls of red
Crashing to the ground
Damp towels and screams
Tears and pleads
My shadow’s holding on

Get the gurney!
Oh my shadows trying
Leave me behind
The ambulance is moving
Going every direction I’m going

Hook me uo
Stitch me up
Replace my cuts with plastic and metal
I’m worried
About myself
About my friends
About my family

You’re going to make a full recovery!
Words I finally wanted to hear
You’re going to live?
Worda I finally understand
Life has a whole new meaning

To tell me it’s going to be alright
And my shadow is finally right
