The kimono has become a symbol that evokes Japanese culture in all its splendor, so my intention with this illustration is to highlight the beauty of the kimono without neglecting the folklore of the Japanese people, additionally I decided to focus on fabrics and the patterns of the kimono, in addition to showing the dyeing technique called Kyo-Yuzen originating from Kyoto, since it is my greatest desire to pay tribute to the master craftsmen who with their work are trying to bring the kimono closer to the new generations.
