I'm not an artist
Hello everyone.

I've been drawing since I was a kid. I was always enchanted with the work of artists and kept trying to imitate their work. Mainly comic book characters in the beginning. I happened not to be satisfied with my drawings, although many people liked what I did.

This dissatisfaction led me to seek courses that could help me improve my technique, or rather, develop a technique since I really didn't have any. My drawings were quite instinctive and the end result depended a lot on how I was feeling at the time.

My parents wanted me to be a doctor, so I didn't have much support from them in my development. With few resources, at a time when there was no internet, I buried myself in public libraries, seeking guidance from the great masters. At the time, I managed to enroll in a correspondence course that I saw in a comic book. Only then did I really get a technical boost.

I "specialized" in drawing the human figure and wanted to one day become a recognized portrait artist. The need to seek my livelihood made me go astray and I ended up taking a course in the Merchant Marine. I became a sailor.

In that sense, I can't say that I'm an artist in the conception of the word, but that's how I feel in my soul.

I hope you like the works that I share with you through this site. Drawing is still the best way I find to express my feelings.
