Hello!

I often get asked what i use to paint so here is my current workflow. I will try to make a real tutorial once i have time but for now this is just a short explanation.

I use the app Procreate to paint and i paint on my iPad pro.

The brush i use the most is called “spectra”.
I use that for coloring and even for sketching and lineart by adjusting the thickness.

For coloring i also use the brush “Spectra”and “Salamanca”. These are textured brushes. Plus I also use basic airbrush brushes.

But i think the most important point is that I add a layer of paper texture on top of all my layers and set the blend mode to “overlay” or “burn color” with an opacity of 10 - 20 % (you just have to test out what looks best)

I generally like working with textured layers over my paintings. Sometimes i use watercolor texture or grunge textures. This gives your paintings cool watercolor-like or painting-like effects.
