this has been inside of me for years now and i feel like getting it off my chest. so there is this boy at my school and for privacy reasons i’ll call him henry. i’ve known henry ever since i was in first grade so about 7 years now. he was the nicest kid i’d ever met and the funniest, and we were pretty good friends for a long time. when we were on safety patrol together we always talked, and for a bit i had a crush on him. then we got to middle school and it all changed. he started insulting me repeatedly and calling it a “joke.” and he stopped talking to me, and for a while i thought maybe something was going on with him so i left him alone. but nothing changed, and he hates me now to this day. i don’t know what i did wrong. is it me or him? was i too annoying?? was i just something he was just going to throw away and only kept me around because he was bored? everything he does is for jokes and laughs and he’s one of the most disobedient kids in our class. i feel like it’s my fault.
