i'm trying semi realism

so far, I LOVE IT- idk, I love how flexible semi-realism is tbh- like its the sweet spot in art yk

also for the shading question: Block shading (idk if that's the right term for it but its what I call it :'p) basically its shading where you break off different sections where the shade (or difference in value) would be- so the inside of the ear and stuff. This goes with shading, lighting, everything- and it can look kinda geometric depending on how you do it. I really like doing it bc I just like how it looks :D

  • Ikr the leveling system is pretty sucky Buuut at least u got a good position in rookie rank,, 👍 And either way don't focus too much on that random ass algorithm, it's rly a waste of time,, and it doesn't make u enjoy art the way u make it, u might even end up disliking every drawing that doesn't get enough likes or that doesn't get leveled up,, and that's not the point of publishing art So yea, don't let urself down cus of that level 4 😭😭 It doesn't define anything Abt ur worth as an artist

  • If you look at the LEVEL 7 illustrations, ALL of them are completely anime. Not a tiny bit anime, but FULL-ON anime. No room for other artstyles..
