When signing an art piece or putting ur watermark over it, don’t place it over where someone could easily color over or erase it(ex. Solid color areas/flat colors/white areas). Instead, place it over an area where there’s more detail so it’s harder to erase the watermark. You can also make it barely visible or kinda blend into the background so an art theft wont notice it and so you can easily rat them out if you do find your stolen art. I learned this from my brother bc apparently his ‘big bro’ instincts came out and didn’t want my art to be stolen even tho im n o t p o p u l a r agdhgfehh
