I know there are many great artists on this platform
What I think is that without persistent effort ,they might not have reached such heights
I just wanted to know that was there any time you felt demotivated, feeling all your hardwork worthless, unable to explore your weaknesses??
I felt like asking this because I've felt this many times
Maybe that's why I take too many breaks. Sometimes months go on and on and I just feel it's all worthless...
Have you guys ever been in this situation? What you've done to come out of it?

I feel quite Daunty

Have you ever felt demotivated ??
Well I'm feeling it nowadays whenever I go to ArtStreet I see the same things everyday...
Almost all of my artwork remain at 10 to 12 likes or and constantly remain at level 1
At this point I don't beg for likes but wanted to know from those who are reading this, have you experienced such a phase and then how you overcame it??

  • > pbart Yeah I've tried following those 'popular people' but yet face the same situation It further makes me feel whether there's a fault in my art or my mentality 😅😅

  • It's very easy to overcome it though, if you interact more, like more works, comment on more works and follow more people, they support you too it's a mutual growth kinda thing...

Have I been committing a sin?

I know I cannot draw well and so I need a good looking reference for perfect face or body shape but my relative often makes fun of me by saying hey copycat you should have enough imagination to create it by yourself...
Have I committed a sin since a long time? If not, how can I prove others that this is not cheating!!

  • Huh, no not at all.. In fact references are the most essential part of development... Even if you have good imagination using references is a really important thing. I use hundreds of references for each illustration I create, it's completely fine.

  • Aw no you didn't commit any sins. Actually a lot of professional artist use references. It's not bad a lot of artists do it. But I'm not sure how you can prove it to others that it's not cheating.

  • > ABTOP Oh, Completely different tradition! In India the time and position of stars during birth decides the sun sign Thanks for letting me know!!

  • Hello! This oriental zodiac changes every year.😀 “the twelve zodiac signs in Chinese astrology” This cycle is called "Eto" in Japanese. The twelve zodiac signs in Chinese astrology make a circuit by 12 years. The twelve zodiac signs in Chinese astrology are represented by the 12 animals. The order is as follows; the Rat, the Ox, the Tiger, the Rabbit, the Dragon, the Snake (Serpent), the Horse, the Ram, the Monkey, the Rooster, the Dog, and the Boar. This year is the year of the tiger, so all babies born this year are tigers. People born 12 years ago, that is, those born in 2010, 24 years ago, and those born in 1998 are all tiger attributes. According to a folk tale, the order of the twelve zodiac signs was decided by which animal gave its new year’s greetings to the God first.
