I made him a little cake with apples, carrots, a little lettuce, smushed up bananas as icing and a little dried buggy as a number 1 (bc he's a year old)

if the joycon slots in but the switch doesn't register that it's in, then you might wanna just clean the slot and the joycon with a clean toothbrush. idk if that's your problem though
