So at my old place, I like to call it hell, it was one of those where you could see through the entire house and out the back door from the front. Except it was two stories. So there's only one bedroom (upstairs, and it was mine), my mother and father sleep in the living room, and my grandma sleeps in the kitchen.
So apparently since there was no door my mom decided to put a door on it (that didn't fit, there was about two feet of space above the door, keep this in mind). There's no doorhandle so the door can't close. SO IN HER MIND, SHE THINKS, "OH WHY DON'T I PUT AN OUTSIDE LOCK ON IT?!"
So I have to fucking scream for her to let me out of my room. Often times ending up crying on the floor because she won't wake up.
I realize how incredibly toxic this was yesterday.
So I start climbing out the top. She boards it up. Keep in mind, I'm about four or five at the time.
I confronted her about it yesterday and he response was "oh you couldn't be trusted back then."

So yeah, that's an experience.
