I'm trying to go for an emu-type look, but I'm not sure if I prefer the magical looking one, or the other one that looks more natural. I feel like this bird thing could be aggressive, so I made the colours redder to indicate that. But I also like the purple one, and maybe it's because that is what I've began with =,>

This is for Oddish, and holy cow I AM STUCK! I have no idea what elements I can add in to make it cottagey, homey, and foresty, I just am trapped in this circle of trying and retrying-
I think I need to do this in black and white first, to get the values.
But can you guys suggest things that can make it more like cottagecore? I want a lot of little objects and tiny animals around the scene to make it feel alive but I have no idea what I can add..
