Roasting my old art

But its gonna help u actually
So i know this is a "sketch" but i still wanted to fix some things and talk about it with you because theses are mistakes that we can avoid easily and will improve the quality of the piece.
Im mostly gonna talk about the shading here. First of all the values are kinda off, you can see that her neck face and arm kinda fades with the hair in the back, thats why i added another light source so you can differentiate them, but it didnt helped much, the thing i would do today is either make her body lighter or the hair in the back, the best option here is to make her hair lighter, just pick the color of the background and play with the opacity until you are satisfiyed with the piece. There is also some inconsistency with the how strong the light is, if you look at her left arm, the light seems really strong but once you look at the face it doesnt seem that strong. Since there is a light on both sides there should be highlights on both sides of her eyes too, the one on the right shouldnt be as white as the one on the left- the hair needs a second light source too. Thats all for today ig😭😭 theres way more stuff to say but its gonna turn into a novel
