Well this’ll be a challenge, I accept!
A challenge that I accept! So this pertains to one of my school clubs. And I have been tasked by the graphic designer to illustrate the challenge that I accepted for this slide. The challenge being, Arab-racism seen in our school. Which…is a challenge to me cuz….i have never seen it happen around myself cuz I tend to keep people who AREN’T racist or any of the words ending in “phobia” in my circle. I’m also, white. Now, while I have seen/heard this sort of thing around people outside of school, I haven’t seen/heard it in school (well…minus one).
But nonetheless, this is a challenge that I fully accept & already have a good idea that I could do. Of course, I need approval from the club leader/founder. Because it pertains to the “minus one”, that I mentioned. I won’t go into an explanation about that, however, I will say it pertains to our school doing some shady sh*t when it comes to this club. Like…idk, taking down our club’s posters for no reason. Or editing our slide seen on the tvs in the hallways at school because, “[he] doesn’t think it’s necessary to have [the topic for our meeting] be seen/out there”.
The topic btw was, “Anti-Arab Racism in the US”. I’m just sayin, that’s pretty damn shady! Totally “not” suspicious of the assistant principal to say/do. Because as far as we’re aware…our club & its subjects aren’t breaking any school rules. It’s also pretty weird when he threatened our club’s livelihood with, “I can close your club”. The club leader was also not informed about the edit either. They found out via the MISSING TOPIC on the slide on the TV screens.
Yeah that’s totally “not” weird & shady. Pretty f*cked up though.

LKMr.RazWhat makes the removal of our club’s posters suspicious is the fact that there are posters that have been up since the beginning of the school year. Our club has been meeting up since January, it’s MARCH! Our club has existed for only 2 months… and our posters are being taken down! Like that’s pretty damn shady!Display translation
