Backstory(ish)

So basically when every dragon fox (thing) is born (in this au) they are put into 3 different clans. The lower class ruby clan. The mid class sapphires. And the high class emeralds. They were put into clans based on how rare their palette and fur patterns were. Because Kai's pattern was a very common one(circle) he was place in the ruby clan where they would prepare themselves to pass on to the next 2 clans. They are meant to start training at age 7 with their assigned griffens usually given to them a few months after birth. Because kai's family was poor at the time he had to get his griffen by age 3 making it hard to train with mint (his griffen) due to lack of discipline and behavior control. This caused him to slack behind in his studies of the other 2 clans. Each clan studies a specific magic. Rubies studied defence( shields and things to block with). Sapphires studied healing. And emeralds studied attacks. His best friend (jax who you'll see later) who is in the emerald clan however helps him study and learn about the emerald clan. This caused him to learn how to attack things using self generated magic instead of artificial magic (potions and stuff). His birthmark (the lil flame) caused him to have the nick name Blaze which is what Jax calls him.

New oc

This is my new oc that i might put into the comic so beware of spoilers

Name: Ghastly
Age: 15
Gender: N/A
Likes: likes eating mice and snakes, and frightening larger animals. It also likes climbing trees, rain, and spending time with its sibling who's named Mushi.(ill draw them later)
Dislikes: warm weather, drinking lake water, and birds(They chases them away when they] climbs trees).They also dislike loud sudden noises
Whenever they howl, what ever creature hears it is stunned for 3-5 minutes, making it easier for them to get some food. They will also cast a mist of fog to block the view of their prey.

Backstory: Mushi and Ghastly were abandoned by their family because the parents felt as if they were to violent around their other 6 sibling's and felt as if they weren't their pups because they acted so different from everyone else in the family, forcing them to learn everything on their own with only the support of each other

Making a comic

so, if you haven't seen the post of my new oc karma, I've decided i want to make a comic with them. Thing is, i don't have a lot of free time on my hands so that's problem 1. problem 2 is that its my first comic and i have everything planned i just don't know how to make it. i have the whole background story planned, and I know what I'm going to do, but i don't know if i should. Another problem is that they are a lot more detailed then they appear so i don't know if i can bother drawing every little detail hat they have, as well with the setting/their surroundings. should i make the comic?

should i start a youtube channel?

I've been really sitting on this topic for awhile now, and i don't know if i should start one so I'm coming to you guys for your opinion. on one hand doing YouTube will be lots of fun, and i get to make a couple dollars here and there. on the other hand, i may not have the time to do it due to school and family matters. i mean i haven't really planned when on going to post the videos, so there's that. and i haven't settled out weather I'm doing to post a certain genera, I've had my mind st on those little animations with voiceovers that I've seen people do. I've also planned some speed paints that i really want to post but don't know if i should or shouldn't. got any ideas or suggestions? also happy day ivy, ily <3
