So I’ve been reading a lot of warriors recently and I’ve realized that there are few atheists, or cats who don’t believe in StarClan, that are good. Most cats who don’t believe are seen as bad and evil cats. When shadow clan stopped believing they turned into a pack of rogues which makes it seem that if you don’t believe in anything, then you’ll turn savage or rogue. As an atheist myself, this makes me feel a little offended. I may be over reacting I guess but I just kinda wanted to share this.

while out of context it may seem that way, but I think it's because a common religion is the norm in Warriors. Warriors is kind of like the Medieval Era because nearly everyone believes in one religion (StarClan and Christianity) and those who don't are regarded as outsiders. The reason for this is that since birth, people are brought up to believe in the belief system and there really is no alternative that they don't have to make themselves.

It means that people have to be a lot more committed to being against a belief system to step out of those boundaries, which is why there were fewer Atheists in Warriors and the Medieval Era. As for ShadowClan, it was the effect of them not having something to believe in vs. having secular things to believe in outside of religion. When the Black Death struck, people started to turn to greed and selfishness in the immediate aftermath due to their worldview being upturned and their faith diminished, not just because they were less religious. It's less about being an Atheist and more about cause and effect of an event catalyzing a dramatic shift in worldview, plus preestablished norms. But I'm probably looking into it too much uwu wow I got really serious there for a second i guess being really into castles helps sometimes!

So I finally was able to download this new art app called Procreate because Mom gave me $25 to put on my iPad and it’s great. I mean there are a few things here and there that Medibang is better at but this app immediately saves your work so there is now way in the world that you could accidentally close the drawing and not save. It also has options to make water more realistic and has a brush specifically for things like water, clouds, fire, and other shit. It doesn’t crash either soooooo I can say good buy to Medibang forever.
