A love poem I wrote.

Oh Darling girl, the wonders of your splendor and your grace,
They leave me standing all amazed, a smile on my face.
It’s totally incomparable of what you do to me,
Your beauty leaps beyond the scales, farther than the eye can see.
I wish that I could be like you, so wonderful and lively,
But instead I’m stuck with a hopeless mess like poison ivy.
You’ve no idea how long I’ve waited to express myself to you,
Because every time I see you I no longer am feeling blue.
No one else in the world compares to you my dear,
The very thought of your presence makes me shed a tear.
How I long to be loved by you, a soul so precious!
The very taste of love I’ve never had I’ve heard is luscious.
So here we are I stand with my deep feelings for thee,
And I desire much that the way I love you, you will love me.
