at first it was going to be a nice cheery picture of him
but my inner emo came out
and why not
havent drawn in a while

some backstory:
i wanted a 'speak no evil' theme
he has premonition powers, he's basically psychic and can foretell the future. usually the important one comes in his dreams, thus the "you always die in your dreams" in the first pic. his power is pretty strong .
.
the 'speak no evil' is because of his power he becomes a vital tool throughout the story and ends up being manipulated and pressured to give up knowledge about the future that can help the enemy out.
at one point he even ends up being manipulated/tortured by his ex-girlfriend-turned-fiancee, and this is the scene of that :)
(lucas is also the 'speak no evil' in the story :), though hisa n lucas switch between speak and see no evil. eve is 'hear no evil', and samael is just, evil.)

my best fanfic ever~ durarara fic

Shizuo froze, glowering at the man who stood in front of him, who was looking behind him and smirking. Shizuo could feel the cool of the metal on his head. When nothing was said for a couple moments, shizuo growled, “whedbi lick my ass”

“ok the man said. He then took the gun off his head and shizuo felt his belt snap loose under the grip of the man’s strength

Wow he thought, this must be such a powerful man hehe

He couldnthelp but feel powerless as the man ripped off shizuos pants , b ut shizuo liked it so he didn’t refuse

He was enjoying the man when izaya then ran into the alley, and he looked surpipes

“WHAT DO YOU THINK YOURE DOING” izaya screamed as he ran and then killed the man while he was destroying shizuos ass

im sketching / art tips ig?

hey everyone!!
so recently i've been thinking of drawing everyday to help inprove my art. i decided to draw everything with pen because theyre meant to just be sketches to help my style, etc.
over a week ago i started.. and basically it was just some lame stuff i could think of. i wasnt really motivated, drew some trees that were half-assed, looked like broccoli, and some other random stuff. i then thought-- "im not in the mood." and gave up (1st pic)
gradually it got better along the week.. i missed a day for drawing, whatever. still wasnt really motivated. i then thought this is dumb. why did i do this smh. drew people who werent even in my stories, just random stuff again. (2nd pic)
and so here we are now. after drawing todays sketches, which i only gave myself about half a page to draw on oof, i felt a bit better about myself. i drew a terrible girl idk that was just terrible. then drew some eyes and stuff, decided that this is how i wanna draw eyes, drew hisashi looking asian af as a kid and lucas being a kid as well. (3rd pic)

i had a much better plan when i thought about posting this--

anyways i just wanna say. im going to be posting my sketches every couple of days, and talking about it. the sketches are still pretty bad buttt whatever lol.
also, this feels pretty raw tbh. almost all of my personal art lately has been painting so putting out sketches feels weird because theyre kinda.. Ahem ugly lmfAO.
but i can't wait to see the improvement 😉

TIPS:
if you guys want to expand on your style, help yourself in art i recommend taking a set amount of time each day to just doodle and sketch. it really helps. instead of doing your bigger art projects you just settle and take a break and draw some stuff that looks like sh*t but it doesnt really matter because no one will really see it :) and you just have to allow yourself to not get frustrated if things dont turn out right.
sketching in pen is great when its just a sketch, i feel. if youre just doing fun stuff. with pencils you can erase, and nitpick at stuff that you dont like. oh, this looks terrible *erase* oh his eye is lopsided *erase* oh why did i draw his nose like this *erase*. I feel like at that point, youre not really sketching for fun, but more criticizing and perfecting your work, which is not needed.
drawing in pen can also help you see, and look back on what you need to improve on. with todays sketch i see that i need to work on drawing both the eyes. i was lazy and i didnt, using an excuse of winks or whatever. i also need to work on face shape.
if i had done this in a pencil i could of just easily erased and fixed it, and forgot about it. and it wouldve been a problem in my next drawing.
but now i remember for tomorrow's sketches; do both eyes. fix face shape.

Yesshuu. I couldn't agree more. But then again, my laziness is taking over and the busy scheds. I saw my 5-years ago sketch pad and Welp. I guess I made improvements. Buuut yeah. Practice makes it perfec--- Better. A lot better.
I agree with your tips, best way to notice your anatomy mistakes and therefore improve quickly is to doodle every so often. That's what I did during my last 3 years in high school because I didn't have much time to draw on my tablet (and I didn't know about Medibang yet save for the last year out of the 3). This way I have been able to improve by drawing often in my notebooks (and sometimes directly on my table but just don't do that, I've had to clean that mess afterward once xD). For real I don't think I'd have improved much otherwise ! So keep up the good work and hold onto that mindset ! Anyway I just woke up but good night to you x)

Painting WIP + Mini process :)

I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving!
Not quite done yet, of course, but just wanted to show you guys a little WIP :P
Basically, up to the point I am now, I usually
1. Sketch it out. It doesn't have to be perfect or anything, but I usually use a light gray and basically get down the idea. This is actually a pretty clean sketch tbh, they're mainly much messier and chaotic.
2. Start painting out the values. Set the sketch to multiply and add a layer underneath, it's just putting down the 'base' colors. I add shadows along with the base. Grayscale is much more easier than using color when painting.
3. Start painting. Merge both of the layers together and go. At this point where I'm at, it's basically just blending everything out and adding a nice gradient from where my light source is. The light source is coming from the top right, so everything towards the light is lighter, farther is darker, obviously. You can see it more so on the crown, that's the main thing I finished painting first (not completely though, there's still stuff needed on the crown.). When doing this the lines of the sketch usually become thin or aren't there, and that's alright. After I finish painting everything, I'm going to take a brighter pen and highlight areas that are upraised, and then adding more depth to things that are shadowed. However, at the point I am at, it's still really messy and will be fixed later on.
I don't add color until after I'm done with the painting, but I wanted to color the eyes just because of this >.> I love Ayato's eyes lol.

STARTING DIGITAL ART AGAIN

I literally just realized I can just get Medibang Paint Pro and draw on my laptop, since I don't have my drawing tablet.
So I got it, and...

It's super cool! Way better than the tablet version tbh.
If you have a computer, you should consider using it instead ;p
I didn't do much tonight, just trying it out and stuff. And since I need to find my mouse, I can't really do straight lines and such with my laptop touchpad.
But blending is easy! :D

And so I dedicate this WIP (that i've had for months but haven't got back to it) to you guys, because who doesn't love chests?
I'll also be starting to digitize the traditional stuff I was planning to post, because it'll look better. so this is my oc in Ayato's story, which i made roughly from january early feb. then his name was Nagisa because he looked like Nagisa from Free! for some reason LMao

second i had already put on here but i thought it would be cool to see that this was july, and was the same character. in this his name is Ren...

but now as i'm typing the story out, I changed his name once again to Anastasios ;; which I think sounds way better!
the change in the drawings is rather good for just being 5 months apart? i got way better heehe.. or maybe it's slow? i personally see no similarity in these pictures with style but maybe once i finish the second it'll be apparent
the noses look similarish, i've always drawn noses the same weird way i do oop
but woahhh second pic he is way more girly! and much more hot?? maybe idk
the first is just bad, like a picture drawn from someone.. who is actually my age-

ALSO THE HAIR IS THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE AHA I LEARNED HOW TO DRAW HAIR AND ACTUALLY MAKE IT GOOD ENOUGH
wait is the hair even good?? It looks good to me because my hair used to look like THAT and now it looks gOOd enough. I personally love the hair but it can use some editing to even out the colors but otherwise its good! do you think so?

Yes I am trying to go for InstantMiso's style, she's like my idol in drawing boys, and that's the type of style I just want to stick with.

Some WIPs

Hey guys

So I'm posting this as to show that I have a problem, a problem with doing too much stuff at the same time.

But hey, at least I'm working~

On top of these four I also have two more that need to be done. (̶I̶ ̶a̶l̶s̶o̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶r̶e̶q̶u̶e̶s̶t̶ ̶I̶'̶m̶ ̶s̶u̶p̶p̶o̶s̶e̶d̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶d̶o̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶I̶'̶m̶ ̶p̶r̶o̶c̶r̶a̶s̶t̶i̶n̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶)̶

So I'll tell you a bit about each one, then you guys can tell me which I should finish first~

1. This one was something that Fluffycat asked me to draw. Hikaru and Kaz, I thought they looked pretty nice as a sketch so I wanted to finish it ^.^

2. This one also has to do with Fluffycat >.> Me and her made a story and we made this character together... His name is Junichiro, and he's an Idol (His stagename(? is Aido though ;) ) It's a romance story. I'm actually almost done with this one, kinda? Which actually looks pretty bad .-. I also tried out a new drawing style with this, and I'm liking it. >I also did it with #4<

3. Okay they're just some chibi's lol. If you can't tell it's Lucas (I drew him pretty bad here, I'm sorry my angel boi) and Eve (Love intrest ;) ) I can finish it pretty quick but I dunno. I also hid an easter egg in there, and it took 20 minutes for Fluffycat to find it. Laugh at her, she's not good at Finding Games. ( luv ya )

4. Mkay this was something a little ventish but hey I'm liking it so why not? He's one of my OC's, and is part of Ayato's story. He may seem edgy but he's actually the adorable one LOL. There will be more of him in the future. Maybe. Same drawing style as #2. I'm liking it, but wondering if it's more work than my usual.
