Ah

Took to raising hermies again. ((I missed having an animal companion... Esp after my hamster died)) It's been a while. The last ones I bought were from the mall and I had no clue how to keep them healthy,
I'm definitely trying with these babies though, I have a heating pad thing ((that I hope is working for them)) Q0Q I even have salt water for them hhh))
I definitely am doing better than with the mall bought ones I got ages ago. (( Back when I was 12 ((they lived for several months))

I can only identify the gender of one currently. Her name is jadzia (she's the larger of the two) the smaller one I can't figure out it's gender ((they won't come out of their shell far enough)) so for now it's name is Julian. (( Yes u can tell hermit crabs gender. Females have two gonopores at their last two outer leg segments while males have no visible genitals)) so uh yehhh
Hhhhh I hope they live better than mall bought hermies. Mall bought ones are really awful because of the painted plastic shell bs. That paint is apperiently toxic.
Would have been nice to know xD I freaking had one with an ugly panda shell when I was 12

Mm so they are the ocs..... and they've been best friends for a long time ((don't ship them she has a gf)). :00 ((yes the guy is wearing a rainbow Brite shirt and holding a plush. It's a comfort thing for him.)) He kinda resembles a mix of Billy and Steve from stranger things, and Julian Bashir from deep space 9 just mullet. She was kinda inspired by Tina Turner in ways QwQ
Gang of 6 vampires and one little girl vampire they adopted.

Ahhhh they live in New York in the 80s (in a Subway) and they play in a rock/ pop band ((their money goes to charities when they play coz why do vampires need money QwQ

Ah yes today.

Independence day, when we celebrate that fateful day back in 1996....when Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum saved us all from the alien invasion. Yes.

((Ack me n my family....don't really celebrate Independence day at all because meh. And I don't really like it,,,,because there's a ((I think)) local law where I live that they're not allowed to shoot off fireworks because we are in an inner City area and the houses are close etc etc which is why the firemen here put on a show ((so does the baseball park (I think))
But noooo people here wanna shoot off fireworks despite it being dangerous. I get that they might want to have a more intimate get together but that's why ppl go to the river here! To shoot fireworks. I don't really like fireworks anyways because they can scare mother animals away from their babies.

((Sorry this is so long and it seems a lil mean I don't mind ppl celebrating but dhvhhff oof))
