Good Morning Everyone!
As I get more comfortable submitting my art to Medibang and elsewhere, I've reached a conundrum that I'm not sure how to answer myself. The majority of my art is ecchi at the least, and I'm curious as to where I cross the line regarding mature content. For me it's full blown nudity, but to others it can be lingerie or even a suggestive pose.
I would love to hear the opinion of the community, and whether or not I'm limiting my audience by marking things as mature. Thank you for your time!

Hello! I'm Mel, weeb trash living in San Diego, CA. Last year I bought an iPad Pro to transition to digital design and am learning how to break out of the limited scope bubble I put myself in when I was in high school. This account will mostly focus on designs made in medibang, including sketches and wips. Additionally this is going to be an 18+ page so please only stick around if you are okay with sexual themes.
I enjoy doing original character art trades. Please let me know if you are interested.

I don't think you should worry about limiting your audience with a mature mark. The people who like what you draw will see it (even if they're not supposed to.) As for what should have a mature mark on it, I think it's a combination of common sense and a feel for the place you are posting to. I've only been on DeviantArt and Medibang. Seems to be more complaints when something questionable without a mark pops up on here. Mark, because I need to say mark again... Hope this helps.
My standards for 18+ are anything from nudity to gore. There are some things where I would say 18+, but others would say anyone can view it; like classical art depicting mythology and historical scenes, or self censoring via steam, light rays, hair etc. ~ Lingerie and suggestive posing don't fall into that category but I would never publish those. Basically if you can show it to your parents, you can show it to anybody.
