Chapter Four : Breaking

"Now class," Mr. Spruce spoke. "I'll be handing out lists to each group." He spoke in a less spontaneous voice, a little weary with a hint of fear. He acted like nothing had happened the day before. "And you must collect each item on the list and place it in these baskets."

"Oh, and no venturing past the creek." He added solemnly.

The class left their seats and soft murmurs could be heard between each group. Storm held the list in his claws, looking over the items.
"Oregano, rosemary, basil. Sounds easy," Storm said, looking at Calcite. He still resented her- just not as much.
"Yep," Calcite mused, not even looking at Storm when she spoke.
Storm only nodded and began prodding on, listening to Calcite's light footsteps behind his. They scouted everywhere, picking berries out of trees, digging under roots and trunks, searching soft beds of flowers, and all without a word. Storm didn't like the silence. Storm wondered why Calcite was so quiet today..was she upset about OakScales? Did she know him? That must be awful- Storm hadn't thought about how anyone else felt. Everyone looked as if everything were just dandy, but what if they just hid what they felt. They hid what they felt all for the sake of this school. For the sake of their grade.

Storm hated it. He started to love and hate a lot of things about this place.

Storm turned around to face Calcite, who was staring off into space.

"Calcite?" Storm squinted his eyes.
Calcite shook her head.
"Hm?" Her face shot back to her 'half bitch-mode half innocent-mode.

"Are you sleepy or something?" Storm said more aggressively than he intended.

"Oh yeah, sure, I'm just sleepy," Calcite retorted and shoved past him. What the heck was that, all he asked was if she was sleepy. Her tail lashed and sliced a fern clean off, wooooooh- okay things are getting, oof.

She dipped her head down observing a skinny plant with shallow leaves and picked a single stem. She placed it quickly in the basket, whipping her head around.
"Check rosemary off." She said in a monotone way.
Storm quickly checked that off and hurried after her, she was moving so erratically now it was difficult to keep up. He nearly dropped the herbs they had already collected.

"Calcite wait-" Storm ran up to her side and used his wing to prevent her from moving.

"What Storm. What?" She talked with crisp clearness. She was annoyed.

"What's wrong with you?" Storm was losing his paitence. "Why are you all moody all of a sudden?"

"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you!" Calcite shot back aggressively. Her eyes were a mixture of saddened anger.

Storm literally had no clue what was going on.

"What are you talking about?" Storm furrowed his brows.

"EVERYTHING is wrong!" Calcite turned around, yelling towards the forest. "Everyone is acting like this is normal when it's not." She looked back at Storm to glare.

So she did feel terrible. She felt sad. She felt angry. She was so confused. Maybe as much as he was.

"How can everything be right when it's so wrong." Calcite looked at Storm with hurt eyes.

Storm just stood there. Standing. Like an idiot.
"Glad I'm not the only one." Storm finally said.

Calcite plopped on the dirt, staring off into space again. She looked so lost sitting in her spot. The leaves above them shaded her eyes but somehow they still glittered. She almost looked like a lost child.

"It's so wrong but I don't know how to make it right.." she said staring into the distance.

"Who was Oakscales?" Storm asked, reeling his head waiting for Calcite's furious reaction. Instead, she answered faintly.

Calcite slowly shook her head 'no'. "I didn't know Oakscales, but I knew he didn't deserve to die." She said quietly. "I left the Ice Kingdom to avoid the killing. Guess you can't avoid death."

Calcite really loved this camp, which included all the dragons in it. No wonder, the Ice Kingdom was a small and crumbling nation, of course she'd want to escape. He remembered briefly learning of the Ice Kingdom, and most of the dragons who lived there now were 2nd or even 3rd generation dragons. They had nothing to do with the revolution from 200 years ago. They didn't want to be in a crumbling nation.

They just wanted to be free.

Calcite remained silent again, and continued looking for more herbs. Storm did the same, they somehow knew how the other felt at the moment. This situation bothered him, why did the teachers act like nothing had occured? Was Mellowbrook's reputation worth more than its students? Was-

"This wasn't part of the plan-" a voice whisper-yelled.

"He knew too much. It was either he told everyone, or he died," another voice said harshly.

"Well great, now the camp is in lockdown," the first voice said in a frustrated tone.

"Hello?" Storm said aloud.

He heard the voices beyond a tree, he went to peek his head around its trunk. Nothing. A dew drop fell from a leaf, but that was all.

"GAHH," Storm heard Calcite screech. "EEK. SPIDERS ARE SO GROSS."

Storm sighed and went back to Calcite, cleaning up all the herbs she had dropped. Storm's mind was loaded again.

The murderer was inside the camp.
And there was more than one.

Chapter Three : Turning Tides

Storm had no clue what happened that day. After that incident the rest was a buzz. He didn't care to think about dead bodies and he didn't want to start now. The class had been quickly dismissed and all students had been told to empty the area. It was almost like a Lockdown. Surprisingly a situation like this had never occured before, and this was the first time anything like this had happened. Knowing Mellowbrook they'd try to cover up this incident. A 'High Class' institution in the strongest kingdom can't be known for having a student murdered on it's grounds.
The Rock Dragon on the other talon had been dead for a few days. His name was OakScales. He wasn't from Professor Sprucetail's class which raised even more questions. This whole thing was a mystery, and it both intrigued and terrified Storm. The camp was still under Lockdown, and word spread around the camp like a virus. First day here and there's already death. (Huh, sounds like high school)

But now he was here, talking to TimberWing and Lilac. He had no clue how everything went by so fast, but it did.
"Storm?" A voice inquired. "Stoorrrm?" The voice called again, then he felt a tap on his shoulder.

"Hm- oh." Storm shook his head and met Lilac's face.

"Hey, he's alive. You looked dead for a second." Lilac mentioned.

"No, I'm fine. Err- guess I need more sleep?" Storm shrugged and gave an 'I honestly have no clue face'.

"Since class isn't going on we can show you around," TimberWing piped in, "the least we can do."

"Oh yea! Time to explore~!" Lilac said in a sing-song voice.

Storm only nodded and followed behind Lilac, TimberWing had his side. Something caught Storm's eye, something large. He did a double take and only saw it was a tree. Wait-

"Woah." Storm said in awe, craning his neck upward.

"Oh those?" TimberWing asked while Lilac had to turn back, noticing that they had stopped.

"These are the canopies. They're like dorm rooms, but better." Timber grinned. "We can go check out ours," he added.

"Ours?" Storm asked.

"Oh, it said on your schedule we were also roommates. Dragons from the same class have the same roommates." TimberWing explained.

"Oh and lucky thing too, your dorm is riiight next to mine. Which means I get to annoy you during, and after classes." Lilac said devilishly grinning at Timber.

Alright, Storm had to admit, canopies were pretty cool. They would've never had things like these in the Air Kingdom. Just caves with little to no windows and rows and rows of desks. Everything was so easygoing here. He started to like it.
They had come to two giant cedar trees, with a cozy campfire pit inbetween them, it looked recently used. TimberWing flew upward into the thick canopy of leaves and Storm followed, Lilac tagged along. When they arrived to the top it was almost like a spacious shack with no walls. Just carved wood boards and plenty of supports. He didn't know how the Earth Dragons did it, but they did. In the right corner sat an Ice Dragon reading a book in a nest, in the left corner a Sea Dragon talked with another Rock Dragon.

"Hey guys, I think I'm getting the hang of this climbing thing-" a raspy voice said.
Storm turned to see who it was and it was another Sea Dragon. Of course duh, how else would the first Sea Dragon get up here? Man, they learned to climb. Maybe he could learn to do that. All three dragons looked up to see the Sea Dragon's arrival.

"Hey Delta." TimberWing said.

"Heya, who's the new guy," Delta gingerly leaned against a branch that jut out from the boards, they had carved into it to make shelves. He seemed like a very adventurous dragon, his scales were a lagoon color with seafoam webs along his neck.

"Is he staying with you guys?" The other Sea Dragon said. He had a smoother voice, with a dull tone. His scales were a deep cobalt blue with little random streaks of yellow and orange.

"Yep. Guys say hello to Storm." TimberWings gestured and Storm awkwardly waved, again.

"Hey welcome to the family," the Ice Dragon placed a leaf bookmark in his book and stood up stretching, "man it feels like I'm 80, why is my everything sore?"

"You've been reading all day Peak." The Earth Dragon rolled his eyes and chuckled.

"This is a terrible introduction." Lilac butted in.

"We're doing introductions?" Delta said, "Well in that case I'm Delta, nice to meecha." Delta cocked his head to the side and beamed.
"Over there is TidalWave, Igneous, and Peak. TidalWave likes to sleep. Igneous likes showing off. And Peak likes words." Delta added.

"Hey wait- Delta what kind of an introduction was that?" Igneous asked, facepalming himself. Igeneous looked slightly larger than Timber, but not at all big compared to Sprucetail. He had dingy dark chocolate colored scales all 'round, and a squared face.

"Yeah, your description you gave me was terrible. 'Peak likes words?'." Peak said defiantly.

"Only the most truthful." Delta smirked.

There sas a short awkward pause.
"Eh, he's right. I like sleeping." TidalWave said, the boys started to chuckle.

"Oh hey Timber, we should invite Storm to the fire tonight." Peak said, to his surprise Peak was friendly towards Storm. Didn't Air and Ice dragons hate each other? Well...he thought they did. But after being in this camp he realised that breed didn't matter, dragons talked to who they wanted to talk to. Peak reminded Storm of Calcite. He wore the same speckles on his body except he didn't have any on his face.

"Yea invite him, he'll get to meet more dragons." TidalWave agreed.

"Fire?" Storm asked.

"Yea, like a campfire. We have one almost every night with these two dorms." Lilac said from behind.

"Cool, sounds fun." Storm said.

"Oh hey Storm, the last nest we got here is for you," TimberWings added, pointing his wing to a nest across from Peak's, the bottom right corner. From his nest you could watch the sun set beyond the horizon, he liked it.

Something was racking Storm's brain, he couldn't get the thought of Oakscale's death out of his mind. Even compared to all the diverse dragons, passing his class, and everything inbetween, it was hard to NOT think about him.

That night the fire was lit and Storm glided down with Lilac and TimberWings. He had been talking with them the entire day, and he honestly didn't mind Lilac's outgoing nature. When he landed he automatically noticed Calcite. That Ice Dragon was rude, and uncooperative, and- erm. He didn't realise he was staring.

"Oh Calcite? She's a part of my dorm." Lilac mentioned, elbowing Storm's side and automatically ran towards her. Calcite was talking to another Ice Dragon, when Lilac came over they all chatted and laughed.

The sun had gone down and crickets had begun to sing. The walking dragons around the camp soon died down and most had settled into their canopies. Now it was just their two dorms and the extra Sea Dragons, 10 in all. TimberWing, Igneous, Peak, and he, along with Delta and TidalWave, then from the opposite dorm was Calcite, Lilac, another Ice Dragon named Polarmist and another Air Dragon named Dove.
Together they all sat under the light of the stars. Storm glanced around looking at all the dragons. This place had so much variety. The Air Kingdom was different, over there there was a hierarchy system everyone followed, but here was another story. It didn't matter who you were, or what you liked, dragons accepted you no matter what.
He glanced over at Lilac who was with Calcite, Rock Dragon getting along with an Ice Dragon.

Maybe Calcite wasn't so bad.

Maybe Ice Dragons weren't so bad.

Chapter Two : What To Think

Out of all the dragons. An Ice Dragon. Why. Storm's mind was flustered with anger, and a bit of disappointment. He sat down in his seat, reluctantly. Calcite looked away from him and stared toward the front of the class. Her wings were neatly folded in and her head poised straight. She tried to keep her attention on the teacher.
"Alright nothing TOO hard today, unless you hate nature. Talkin' to you Misty," Professor Spruce joked. The class chuckled.
"We'll just venture out into the forest to get lost, now lets go," Spruce gestured his wings for the students to follow.
The students tilted their heads and others laughed. This teacher was really, REALLY laidback.
"Well?" The professor waited and students got up from their seats. "And no we're not actually getting lost Storm." The Professor grinned at him, guessing he was confused. And yes, he was. Very.

As students left their desks he saw groups of two form, each pair from each table was a group. He watched TimberWings go off with a Sea Dragon, and Lilac go off with an Air Dragon. The groups here were all random, and there wasn't a single group of dragons of the same breed. Maybe Mr. Spruce liked diversity.
Sprucetail stopped a little ways into the forest, letting his class gather around him. He spoke in a commanding enough voice for the students to listen, but still upbeat enough to keep them interested.
"Today you and your partner will be gathering the necessary herbs in order to make mellowmint ointment," he said then spread his wings showing off the forest. "You have this entire area, just don't wanter past the lake or the birch trees. You may begin, feel free to ask questions."
And they were off, all the groups racing off in opposite directions, almost like they wanted to finish first.

Calcite hadn't said a word, and Storm just aimlessly followed behind. Wait, why was HE following HER around? He didn't have to listen to that thieving icicle head.
"Wait where are we going?" Storm asked.

Calcite turned around to look at Storm. "To find the mellowmint. Duh." She replied.

"Do you even know where you're going?" Storm belittled her.

"Of course I do, I've been here longer than you haven't I?" Calcite shot back, not in a feisty tone, but in a truthful way that hurt. Ouch Storm.

Storm noticed a river snaking to their right with a pond farther off. He stepped infront of Calcite to stop her, she was so determined she forgot Storm existed for a second. She was slightly smaller than Storm, so she had to look up and give him a 'What do you think you're doing idiot?' type of look.

"Look, there's a river right there, we can find the mellowmint here." Storm commanded.

"No," Calcite shook her head, and walked past him. "C'mon." She said.

Storm glared at her. Mellowmint grew by water, was she crazy? He quickly ran to the river and spotted some mellowmint leaves. He whisked the moss colored leaves in his talons and trailed after Calcite. What the heck this dragon was so uncooperative. Storm hated it.
They had come to a small creek to the left of the river and there she dug her nose into plants.
"I already have the mellowmint, we can stop looking now." Storm said impaitently.
Calcite didn't respond, but instead found more mellowmint leaves. She held it up to Storm and let him observe it.
"The difference between the mellowmint you found and the mellowmint I found is that mine is better." She said arrogantly.
Storm was about to open his mouth but before he did she spoke again.
"There isn't enough canopy by the riverbed to shade the mint leaves, so they wither and lose their healing properties. Mine however-" she grabbed a leaf from his palm, showing the differences," is quite healthy. Here by this creek there's more shade. Therefore-" she swat Storm's leaves out of his talons.
"Mine is better." She grinned and gestured her wing for him to follow. Ouch Storm. Two times the charm.

Now all they needed to do was head back, mash up the leaves, add lemon, yada yada and boom. Except uh- Storm had no clue where to go. So yet again, he had to follow behind Calcite. Storm hated this. Air Dragons were superior. Air Dragons ruled over Ice Dragons. Heck, Ice Dragons were a just a downgraded version of an Air Dragon. All of these thoughts swirled his mind. Why couldn't he have been paired with an Earth Dragon. TimberWing seemed nice.
Calcite abruptly stopped infront of Storm. She stood still for a long time, Storm thought she needed to sneeze or saw an odd looking bug. Storm got fed up and tilted his head to the side.
"What's taking so lo-" Storm stopped, his jaw open.
A body lay in the lush green plants, streaks of the late afternoon sun shone down upon the dead body. The eyes had glistened over with a sheet of grey. Storm's heart was racing. He glanced over at Calcite, whose eyes had filled with tears. She didn't know what to do but stand. The mellowmint fell from her claws. Storm gazed back at the mangled body, he had been strangled to death. His neck was twisted. Storm saw it was a Rock Dragon, but what could possibly be strong enough to take down a Rock Dragon? Did other students know about this? Had this happen before?
Storm didn't know what was going on. Is this how all the students felt everyday? Fear? Knowing their fellow clawmates could die? Storm didn't know, all he knew was that this wasn't the end of it.

Chapter One: Calcite

Storm lightly glided toward the camp, letting his claws touch the soft grass. Fall in the Earth Kingdom sure was odd. The leaves turned orange over here, some trees had begun to shed their leaves to show their bare branches. Maybe that was because the trees in the Air Kingdom were mostly pine. Or maybe for the fact that Air Dragons moved the snow clouds away from their territory. Whatever it was Storm sure wasn't used to it.
Storm hadn't even thought about where to go once he got here. He realised he was completely lost. All around him dragons walked to and fro. A water dragon quickly scampered by holding plants and herbs. An Air Dragon fluttered by with several friends. It was so incredibly busy and disorganised that Storm felt uncomfortable.
A large dragon approached Storm, tilting his head. Storm whirled his head around and flinched, encapsulated in the larger Rock Dragon's shadow.

"You appear to be lost." The Rock Dragon spoke. He had dusty brown scales with lighter colored wings and an umber colored snout that faded toward his face.

To Storms surprise he was incredibly friendly.

"Erm, I'm just your average newbie here." Storm cocked his head to the side and rubbed his neck, giving off an embarrassed smile.

"No worries, I was like that too," the Rock Dragon outstretched his arm, "I'm TimberWing."

Storm took his claws and gave an awkward handshake. Well, this was new. Was this an Earth Dragon thing? Okay..

"Storm," he replied.

"Neat name, I can show you where you need to go," TimberWing grinned.

Storm nodded amd followed behind TimberWing. This place was odd, it was almost like there were camps within camps. Were there any cozy caves to stay in? The place was very rustic and old fashioned, the dragons here were so different.
They zig zagged through dragons, dragons galore. They had reached a cave dug into the bottom of a cliff, it reminded Storm of his home. A desk carved of stone lay at the front, a lantern hung behind it with stone shelves with paper, books, and more paper.
Well atleast they knew what shelves were.
Another large dragon turned around and headed toward the desk, she was even bigger TimberWing was. She wore glasses made of wire and thin pieces of glass.
Well duh, Earth Dragons also invented glasses. Storm figured they weren't SO bad. They were pretty good crafters if they needed to be.
"Need anything?" She had a smooth calm voice.

"Hey Willow," TimberWing chirped.

"How are you Timber, " Willow smiled and shifted her glance at Storm. "Who might you be?"

"I'm Storm," he politedly grinned back.

"Oh, he's new Willow." TimberWing pipped in.

"Mmm, I see," Willow turned around and grabbed a large book. She laid it on the desk, opened it, flipped to the newest page, and held a quill in her talons. "So Storm...," her voice trailed off as she wrote his name on the paper. She looked back up then back at the book again, writing down 'Air'.
"Age?" She asked.

"27," Storm answered.

"Alright, I think we're set," Willow said swiftly writing down more notes, scale color, gender, etc. She then handed a schedule to Storm, he gazed at it in wonder.

TimberWing nodded and waved goodbye to Willow. He then glanced at Storm's schedule.
"Oh, you have Professor Sprucetail." TimberWing's eyes held excitement."You'll like him, he's a great teacher." He elbowed Storm.

So Earth Dragons did have structure here. It was just...different.

They had arrived at another camp area. Like camps inside a camp, wow. Class wasn't in session at the moment, and lucky it wasn't, he'd be embarrassed coming in the middle of the professor's teaching. Hey wait, where was the professor?
All the students in the area gazed at Storm. Storm wasn't very large compared to the Earth Dragons, but his movements were much more elegant and planned. His scales were an even coat of cadet blue with a few iridescent scales on the end of his tail and around his neck. His hair along his neck was a deep navy blue, but incredibly messy with a carved swoop. TimberWing looked back to talk to Storm.

"You'll have a blast, promise me," Timber assured Storm.

"HEY TIMBER." Another voice startled TimberWing.

TimberWing flinched and flared his wings, whipping around his head. All the students stared at Timber, some giggling. Was this seriously what a class was like here? Students goofing off, laughing, not sitting in their correct seats? Some dragons sat ontop of desks and chatted, others hovered in the air observing the scene. Storm backed away from TimberWing to avoid his wings. A smaller Earth Dragon flew from behind TimberWings and into the air, she glanced back to see his reaction.

"Lilac, you're so annoying." Timber jokingly whined.

Storm stared in confusion.

"C'mon you should be used to this by now." Lilac shrugged, flapping her wings in the air.

"She does this all the time." Another random dragon called from behind Lilac. "And everytime she does it gets better and better."

The class by this time was stuck in a case of the giggles. Some dragons laughed at TimberWing and Lilac's rivalry, others couldn't stop laughing at Storm's reaction.

"Oh hey, wait, that's a new dragon." Lilac landed on the ground next to Storm. "I'm so good at first impressions." She held her claws to her chest as if she was giving a speech. "You already know me as Lilac, the annoying cousin."

TimberWing gave a sour face to Lilac.

"Lilac this is Storm, Storm, Lilac," Timber gestured with hand movements.

"Oh I just love Air Dragon names, they're so unique." Lilac added.

Did Earth Dragons really like Air Dragon names that much? And were they THIS outgoing and social? Storm glanced across the area, he saw Rock Dragons talking to just about anyone, no matter what breed they were. Maybe Rock Dragons were just really friendly.

"Hello hello my pupils." A gruff voice said from out of nowhere. Heads turned in the direction it projected from and there standing was an adult dragon. He wore weary eyes but hidden beneathe those he had amber eyes that showed wonder and curiousity. His scales were a cedar but showed tawny speckles here and there. His horns were broad and curled slightly upward, giving him a regal but goofy look.
The students automatically sat in their directed seats, Storm stood standing like idiot. The students' laughter died down and the chatter soon faded.

"We got a newbie Professor Spruce," a Sea Dragon called out. "His name is Storm."

"Ah, I see, so who might I give this adress to?" The Professor tilted his head and watched the students look at Storm. He nodded.

"Hello, Storm here," Storm grinned and awkwardly waved.

"Hello there Storm, welcome to my class. I'm Professor Sprucetail, but you can just drop the 'tail' part."
He opened his wings and guided Storm to an empty seat. "You'll be paired with Calcite," Spruce added. The seats looked like nests, well, not high class but they were comfy. The desks just made of more carved stone with 2 seated at each table. Atleast the Earth Dragons could improvise.

Calcite sounded like a stone. Cool, he'd have an Earth Dragon for a partner.

"We've been waiting for a new student, now the class is even and Calcite has a partner," the professor opened his wing and let Storm free.
Sitting in the opposite seat sat a blue calcite looking dragon. With glistening scales and piercing sapphire eyes, she looked so calm. She had speckles across her shoulders, talons, tail, thigh, and freckles on her cheeks.
When she glanced to look at Storm her calmness left her and immediately was replaced by a burning hatred look. Storm felt the stare, and he knew he was showing the same stare too.

She was an Ice Dragon.

Prologue *Melody & Harmony*

It was an unusually warm afternoon for a fall day. The ground here was still green, odd compared to all the other nations. A nimble dragon swiftly skidded out of a cave carved onto a cliff, a larger dragon waited outside.

"There he is!" The larger dragon spoke with a sweet tone, her claws outstretched to her son.
"Oh my little boy is growing up!" She quickly embraced her son, cradling him softly.

"Mom..." The dragonet felt like pulling away from her sides, but something urged him to stay put.

"Are you sure you have everything Stormy?"

"Yes Mom."

"Is that all?"

"Think so." Storm lifted his wings to check his bags.

The mother stood back and sighed, everything he worked for lead up to this point. Now it was just a wave goodbye. She glanced behind her, the early afternoon sun still high in the sky. She faced back and hugged Storm for the last time.

"See you sweetie.." she said in a hushed, choked tone.

"Love you Mom." Storm embraced her back with wings spread around her, he was nearly as large as she.

As Storm backed away he stared into his mother's eyes, they glistened. She was going to miss him.

"I promise, I'll visit every month." Storm reassured her.

Storm walked to the edge of their cliffside cave, spreading his wings, he took a last look at his mother, giving each other sorrowful glances. Then without a word he dove off the edge, spiralling downward then up into the air.
As much as he was sad he was also impaitent. Maybe nervous. Overly excited? He had trained his whole life just to get accepted into this camp. Mellowbrook was the highest, and largest, healing institution ever made. There was no way he'd turn down an opportunity like that. Maybe it was just his nerves, or maybe it was just his lack of any sort of paitence at all, but he knew something was bugging him.
He'd get to meet other dragons. Dragons like him, and dragons not like him. Fellow Air Dragons were nice and all, but it'd be cool to see a Rock Dragon climb. Oh man, he wanted to learn to do that. Or maybe see a Sea Dragon swim. Let's just say, Air Dragon schools are isolated there in Terragon Heights.
All of those thoughts weren't what bugged him. So he wasn't impaitent at all. It was some other feeling in the back of his head.
He quickly glided past a few oak trees surrounding a river, the camp was so large it would be seen from Terragon Heights. Storm wondered if this place would be anything like Air Dragon schools. Did they make everyone sit in sections according to breed? We're classes seperated? He certainly didn't want to be in a room with Ice Dragons. The mere thought made Storm's scales slither.
That was it. It wasn't eagerness or his nerves.

He couldn't be in a room with an Ice Dragon.

Air Dragons despise water, (hate getting their lustrous feathers wet) therefore they despise the Sea Kingdom, but they prefer to stay neutral to prevent a war, seeing as the Sea Kingdom is the largest of all 4 nations.

Ice Dragons have been known to steal from their relatives. Since they share the same territory it's easy for them to get away with Air Dragon's precious jewels.

  • Real air dragons have curves! Lol, i just mean they could bloat up full of air and expell it. Air can also be related to sound. Just other ways of thinking when creating.

  • > Smoke Is A Firescales Idek who that is but ok 😂

  • It kinda looks like a skinny version of that dragon falkor from The Neverending Story

  • Magestic boi

Uhm so Im really bored

I wanna do what I see everyone else doing, writing stories on here, (I KNOW IM NOT CREATIVE, I FOLLOW AFTER WHAT OTHER PEOPLE DO BECAUSE I LOOK UP TO THEM AHHHH) and I had this short scene odea that I wanna say cuz I THOUGHT IT WAS PRETTY COOL, BUT Im too lazy to draw it. Sibsbsksvwosb, or I could rewrite a story I've already done but do it better here.

I made a traditional comic a while back, I started it in like 7th grade and finished it 9th, but I still gotta ink the 6th and seventh chapters oof.

Anyways maybe I'll just do that eek,

Traditional Art??

I was drawing this picture when I was like- "Wow I haven't ever posted or talked about my traditional art-"

And welp here it is. I've also been inactive lately and it's just because I'm lazy, oOf. I still have the resquests to do but I haven't outlined it yet and tbh I don't wanna do it yet. (I will, but probably not now.)

On the other hand, yes, I'm still working on le comic- the planning just takes time. I'm tryna make each scene fit and make sense bUT FOR SOME REASON I CANT. JSOSVSKAIgbslsha

ANYWAYS- This is supposed to be another Adrienette ship post later on and it'll probably stay traditional. (It's just so much easier to draw traditionally.)

[ALSO IDK WHY ITS SIDEWAYS]

Short Comics???

ALRIGHTY. I just got this amazing idea. It's probably stupid but I was talking about this with my friend before and I might just start that idea now. (I PROCRASTINATED THIS FOR 3 MONTHS)

Anyways, so Ima make short comics (possibly 10-15 pages) of my OCs (and other OCs if I add you in. I like to add easter eggs in my backrounds)

SO I HAVE THIS GREEEEAAAAT IDEA FOR A WOF FAN COMIC. SORRY IM FANGIRLING. But if you'd like your OC to be included in my short comics then just comment and ask! There's a good chance your OC will be in the background (Possibly even talking to the main characters, mhnhhmm)

MY FIRST IDEA FOR A SHORT COMIC IS WoF BASED, WoF OCs only! Second comic is the human one 😂😂

ANYWAYS. ENOUGH OF MY BLABBERING.
I realky hope this idea doesnt backfire, I like associating with my followers, even if I only have like 50 😂😂

Its good to know Im loved

CHANGING MAH LIST

Let's make it short and simple.
1.) SkyWings
2.) RainWings
3.) SandWings
4.) MudWings
5.) SeaWings
6.) IceWings
7.) NightWings

I finally made up my mind with which dragon type I like more, and the more I thought the more I realized RainWings are kinda cliche too. And also SandWings are freaking amazing, shush no one tell me otherwise.

I put MudWings higher up on my list because of their hierarchy system. I don't know about you, but it works. I like that they stick in family groups and look out for one another- also who wouldnt want a big strong dragon by your side? Some people just think MudWings aren't really necessary in this series, BUT I BEG TO DIFFER. MudWings are my sweet gentle giants, I would take a gentle giant Great Dane rather than a pesky, over the top, ugly little Chihuahua. (SORRY IF U LIKE CHIHUAHUAS, BUT I HATE THEM.)

And SeaWings are pretty great too, with their Aquatic language, ability to breathe water, AND still have wings?!!?! Seems too good to be true- but I realized I literally have no paitence when drawing their light up scales.

ICEWINGS ARE OP WITH FROST BREATHE.

Tbh NightWings will always be at the bottom for me, I just think they're too cliche to adore.

BACK IN THE FANDOM YEET *WoF Ramble*

Okay so incase no one knew, I'm back into the Wings of Fire Fandom after being out of it for like 3 years. So started the series in 6th grade and I was actually really interested in it, I finished the first 3 books in 1 week. After awhile I took a hiatus and held off the 4th book of the First Arc until early 7th grade, after that I just kinda left the series. I finished the First Arc at the end of 8th grade because we had to do this independent novel project and I was like, "Hey, why not?" And now this year I finally decided to finish the series I started and read the Second Arc. Lemme just say I MISSED THIS SERIES SO MUCH. So I finished the 6th book the day I checked it out and the 7th book I read later on in the week and finished it the same day. Jesus I have an addiction.

So after that outta the way, the only thing left to do is FARNGIRL. AGHAGAHAHA. I forgot how much I adored the Rainwings. I gotta list hold on-
1.) RainWings or SkyWings
2.) SeaWings
3.) MudWings
4.) IceWings
5.) SandWings
6.) NightWings

For some reason I just hate Nightwings, (maybe bc all the book characters hate them, but I also hate them because it's so cliche. LITERALLY EVERY NEW PERSON WANTS TO BE A NIGHTWING. Like no- EVERYONE wants to be this "all powerful and mysterious" Nighwing. But the problem with that is since everyone wants to be that it's not really special amymore is it. I guess a Rainwing is kinda cliche too, but I still adore Skywings anyway.

I recently made some fanart for an amazing Youtuber (Sahel the Sandwing.) The speedpaint will probs be up this weekend. (UGhufjh, I literally have no time to upload during the week, TAKES SO LONG.) But yeh, I tried a new style of coloring and I'm actually really proud of it. AND IM NEVER PROUD OF ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH MY OWN ART. OOF.

I also gotta make another rant about Svtfoe. THE SEASON 3 FINALE HIT ME IN THE FEELS. GAHHHHH THE STARCO IS REAL.

*Ahem* Now that I'm done fangirling Ima go now-

Oml how you guys

Ok so for some reason I suddenly blew up when I posted somethin about the expressions challenge, and now I suddenly have like 20 new followers in the course of like 4 days or something. (UhHhhhH, maybe more than 4, but probs less than 7) ANYWAYS, I just wanted to say thanks, and I literally have no clue whats going on but this is amazing to me.

(If only my Youtube Channel blew up this fast, oof jk, no one wants to see my crappy animations ughUgb)

So I don't know how long I'll be drawing thse things, but probably until I get bored. Or i could just find a new expression list on Google, ehHHh.

Alright so the end od 3rd quarter for school is nearly over which means 4 quarter is comin' which also means FINALS. So nearing the end of the school year I won't be active as much.

Oof that was a lot of writing.

Backstreets

Yee to basically I'll be posting a lot about a story/comic I'm working on. (Basically about dogs) So it's centered around 3 dogs, the first two are abandoned (not really) and met the 3rd in a dog fighting arena. Yada yada and they become a trio. You can kinda see the jist of the comic, seeing as it'll be called Backstreets.

Okie dokie, characters.
So who are those dogs that I keep drawing.

Parasol - Chocolate Labrador
- Hyper
- Curious
- Loud
- Clumsy
- Smarter than ya think

London - Great Dane, Shepard, Husky mix.
- Solemn
- Large
- Agressive (passive towards certain dogs)
- Irrational (he doesn't think of his actions and it's consequences)
- Uptight

Oliver - Dalmation
- Jittery
- Timid / Shy
- Surprisingly amazing at hiding
- Nimble
- Terrible at socializing
- Basically the character that causes all the problems in the novel.
