Arrgh! Writer's Block!

Hey, guys! I'm back!

I've been working really hard on my manga. So far the characters are coming along well and the story is a work in progress. However, I've suddenly stumble my worst enemy... writer's block! It happened just when I was just writing up the script. So now my script is temporarily delayed... (-_-')

The story genre is fantasy and it takes place in the future. By the way, this story is going to be a one shot; not a series. Anyway, I've upload what I have written so far. You should be able to find it on my page.

I'm doing the best I can to overcome this writer's block... Wish me luck! (^_^')b

I Have Returned!! Story Recreation?!!

Hello! Haven't posted in a while! I've decided to restructure my story differently. This means that the story is gonna be completely different. Right now I'm trying to do what's called creating a story arc. I just finished creating a character arc for the main character so I'm making some progress. Now all I need to do is finish this story arc... so far it's really getting tedious but I'm making progress. Wish me luck!

  • Thank you everyone!! (^_^)b

  • I dunno if this will help :o but researching popular British people from history might give you some ideas for both a backstory and design. In fact, it doesn't even have to be British history, it can be from any region of the world if your character is an immortal/semi-immortal type of being. If you find something interesting you could work aspects of it into the story :)

  • In Britain they use pounds. Remember that. And remember that words have different spelling in British and American, research those. There are several words that aren't 'British' words, for example, movie is the american variation of film and trash is the american variation of rubbish. Mum is the British version of mom. If you're looking to create a stereotypical British person, fish & chips or tea is often associated with Great Britain and British speakers. For an evil character think about one wearing dark clothes or acting sister and having a mysterious personality.

  • (part 3) i think that pretty much covers the basics! if you're trying to convey a cockney accent, use apostrophes " 'e stole my tea" - but try not to over use them c: posh british accents are very smooth, and the only real differences are that they enunciate vowels more than americans, and "a"s are less nasally - "dahnce" instead of "dance". "a" becomes "ah" (or "ar", depending on how you want to spell it). money, i don't know anything about. i think they use pounds in britain??? i hope that helps!!
