My name is Hana Brightwood, and I am the Elemental Master of Light. My best friends are Lloyd Garmadon, Jay Walker, Kai and Nya Smith, Zane Julien, and Cole Brookstone. I'm usually hanging out with them, training, or saving Ninjago, but in my spare time I like to sing, listen to music, write stories and draw. I especially like drawing and writing about my OC's. I love animals and I LOVE dragons, especially my Power Dragon, Ray. She's my best animal friend.

A large dragoness paced back and forth in a darkened room. Her scales glittered like flakes of snow under the faint moonlight. There was another dragon sitting at a stone made table, the torches flickered along the walls.
"I need her DEAD," she hissed, the dragon at the table sat boredly, playing with a small dagger.
The dragoness slammed her hands on the table and swatted the dagger out of his claws, the metal clinking to the ground. It was silent.
"Alright, what do I get out of this?" The dragon yawned.
"You'll be my second in command," she said slyly.
"Second in command huh?" He said observing his talons. "Hm."
"What, that's not good enough?" She hissed. "What else do you want?!"
"I want half of the Kingdom," the other dragon said in a cunning voice.
"Are you ridiculous?" She spat. "Why would I do that?"
"Because I'm the only dragon who can do this job," he remarked.
"Ugh," the dragoness turned around and contemplated, talking a little while later. "Fine, half of the Kingdom will be yours." She said turning to face him. "IF, you kill her first."
"Sure thing," he grinned. "Glad doing business.."

Balance is the sequel to my previous novel "Melody & Harmony."
I'll be happy to answer any unanswered questions from the first story, as well as some new raised questions in the sequel. Also I needa put up age charts.
Dragons Years
Infant : 1-3
Toddler : 3-5
Child : 5-7
Preteen : 7-10
Teenager : 10-25
Young Adult : 25-30
Adult : 30-90
Elder : 100 -120
College Years
25-26 First Year
27-28 Second Year
29-30 Third Year
They are teenagers for a long time until they reach 25, then they begin to mature faster. We're only teenagers for 6 or 7 years, whereas the dragons mature slower when they're teenagers, taking 15 years to mature. We are young adults for about 10 years from age 20, whereas the dragons begin to mature quicker as young adults from 25-30.
120 is the average age of death, but some dragons, (mostly Sea Dragons) have been able to make it to 140.
The Air Kingdom had been devastatingly hit with the feather flu, which is almost like the normal flu, except only Air Dragons can have this sickness. It starts out like a normal cold then progressively gets worse, to the point where the skin on the wings begin to scab and blister and the feathers fall off. During the Ice Dragon Invasion the Queen had come down with the feather flu, but luckily she survived.

The Ice Kingdom on the other hand, is only held together by their determination to overthrow the Air Kingdom. Celcius is the only Queen who has been able to rule long enough to defend her throne and command others to listen to her.

The Earth Kingdom is hesitant to join in the war, but many are afraid they'll be attacked by the Ice Nation too.

The Sea Kingdom does not want anything to do with this war.

Mellowbrook was temporarily shut down, all the Ice Dragon students had gone missing, as well as a few others here and there. There were two students they never found though, they're stories haunt the new students at the camp to this day. They said an Air and Ice Dragon mysteriously disappeared and never returned. The campus is now back in session.

A small breeze sifted into a cozy cave, from here you'd be able to see Terragon Heights. Ocean waves lapped against the shore below, they were in the Sea Kingdom.
"Mom!" Two young dragonets called to their mother, they looked almost identical. Except, one was missing wings.
"Yes dear?" The mother asked.
"Where's dad?" The twin with wings asked.
A large dragon appeared at the entrance of the cave, his navy blue hair ruffled by his flight home.
"Right here!" He ran over to his two beautiful daughters. They all giggled and rejoyed with their father being home. "Hello Calcite dear." He sat next to Calcite.
"Daddy?" The twin without wings asked.
"Hm?" He replied.
"When's Junior coming?" The dragonet jumped up from her spot and went to investigate a blue tinted egg with darker speckles.
"He'll be here soon," the dragon said, nudging his daughters close. "And ya know what, he's going to have the best sisters ever, Melody and Harmony."
