A very stupid idea

Well I did day I was doing a collab, and i still am, but I just gotta finish finals and stuff. So maybe on Friday I'll explain stuff on the collab, get some art out and ref sheets, and hopefully catc up on a lot of things. Sorry, Sophomore year is killing me right now.
.
Anyways, I had the stupidest idea and infact I've already started it. Uh, anyone remember Meet The Robinsons and Bolt? I'm doing this stupid thing where I merge characters from different movies, and make a comic out of it.
.
Ok the comic is actually really crappy, its like a sketch comic (because I don't have the paitence to use neat lines anymore), but it's still colored.
.
I might post a few pages I've had for a while and see what everyone thinks of it, and if people don't really think it's cool then oh well because for some reason I feel really dedicated to this idea(I say as I lose inspiration and quit the comic 1 week later-)
.

150 Follower Special

So if you haven't checked what I posted already, you'll know I recently reached 150 followers. Sjvahajshkw this is amazing, I never thought to going even over 100.

So for this milestone I don't really know what to do, I might do more requests but this time I think i wanna try a collab. I've already explained on my post that I don't know how to do collabs at all tho, sooooo if anyone can explain to me how that works that'll be great. 😂😂😂 If I do end up doing a collab, I'll probably do 3 to 4 people and draw out a ref for all five of us to do. I still need to decide how I'll choose people. I want to make it as fair as possible, so maybe I'll do a random draw. Hmmm. 🤔

Chapter 4: Midnight

Marco shifted his eyes taking in the menageries verdant beauty.
“Wish I could go in,” he murmured “Too bad it’s filled with so many deadly animals.”
He spotted the howler monkey that had been waking him up every other night and cursed at it under his breath. Marco looked over at the staircase and noticed a bright reflection. He began to approach the staircase slowly, reaching instinctively for his daggers, he felt his hands brush against smooth cloth remembering that he left them in his pack. A silhouetted shadow slid from the staircase, the light from the lantern shining off the shortsword in its hands.
“What are you doing out here?” came Alex’s voice as the shadow slid the sword into a scabbard at its side
“Going for a walk,” he replied warily. “Why?”
“Page fiftysix of the rules,” Alex answered
“Wait, you read that,” asked Marco confused Who does that
“I had nothing better to do,” replied Alex
“Nothing better to do,” said Marco in disbelief “Anything is better than reading a twohundred or more page book about rules,”
“You’d be surprised,” he replied “Plus, it could come in handy,
“Really?” said marco doubtingly “Well, long as we’re here we might as well enjoy the view”
“Guess so” replied Alex.

Chapter 3: Silent

Alex turned on his side for what must have been the hundredth time. After years of training endlessly during the day and attempting to sleep on a rough itchy cot at night, a soft comfortable bed felt strange. What had it been, an hour, three? Alex turned over to see a fleeting shadow sliding out the door, lantern in hand. Alex drew his sword and crept through the door without a sound. He felt his bird land on his shoulder with a light flap.
Saul bent over looking at Alex, his face practically screaming “Where do you think you’re going?”
Alex crept down the cold stone steps, following the light. In his tired haze after arriving he had failed to notice the arches made of stone, but now in his sharp focus of alarm he could see every crack in the stone blocks, every divot in the mortar. He slowly crept around the the final turn in the spiral staircase, peeking out from behind the central pillar he saw the lantern’s light spilling all across the massive arches, the light creating a reflective glow from the glass windows of the menagerie, spanning the gaps between the arches. He focused his gaze on the man holding the lantern, in the flicker of the yellow light he saw a navy blue cloak draping to the floor.

Chapter 2: Numbskull

The door gave way with a slight creak. Alex covered his eyes as he entered the room, light still shining into them. He lowered his hand to see the room. A brown bag of fur tumbled from the rafters knocking him to the ground. His bird stumbled into the air and began flapping to a stop. Alex opened his eyes to see a large rodent the size of a cat standing over him smiling in the happiest yet most frustrated way possible, as if a bag of gold had fallen from the sky in front of him several minutes ago and he still had no idea where it had come from. He got up, his head aching with each passing second.
As Alex rose he saw someone maybe a year younger frowning down at him. “Reaction time was average,” he said sliding off the bed he was sitting on, his green eyes looking around the room lazily. “I honestly expected more. I’m Will, I’m your new roommate.”
“What a pleasant introduction,” Alex commented dryly
He looked down at Saul who seemed to be arguing with the adorable bag of bricks that had fallen on him. He heard the door shift again followed by a heavy sigh.
“Must you do this to everyone?” the stranger asked, “The last three already transferred to different dorms.”
“They had no sense of humor,” Will said haughtily.
“I’m just going to hope he doesn’t have your sense of humor,” replied the stranger in reference to Alex “I’m Marco by the way.”
“Alex,” he replied. Sarcastic, tired, sounds like a piran
Alex turned to see a boy a little older than him with olive skin with his hair slicked slightly to the side, and a thin navy cloak covering him from shoulders down.
“Nice to meet you,” he said reaching to shaking his hand
Marco raised his hand, his arm adorned with a lifesize snake made of silver, as their hands met the snake blinked and began to slide it’s way up Alex’s arm. Alex froze, surprise and shock shining on his face like a full moon. The snake slowly finished it’s ascent to his shoulder and closed it’s eyes drifting to sleep once more. Alex snapped out of the daze, squaring his shoulders and clicking his boots together with a short clank.
“Are, you ok,” asked Marco, startled by the snap to attention
“Yes,” replied Alex, still frozen in place. “I’m fine,” Don’t look at it’s eyes
“Guess Silver likes you,” said Marco, still uncomfortable with Alex’s military ridgedness.
“Guess so,” replied Alex slowly calming himself.
Alex slowly slumped backwards onto the floor, the snake slipping off his arm landing to a stop in front of Marco.
“Hurry up Brooke, the new numbskull ‘s here,” came a voice from the staircase
“Don’t be so quick to judge,” came another, “He could be nice.”
“Judging by our luck in dormmates, he’ll be as thick headed as Will.” the first one replied
“Hey,” yelled Will, his face turning a bright red “We can hear you.”
“We know,” replied the first voice “We just don’t care.”
“Don’t be so mean Lola,” replied the second
Alex rose to his feet just as the two girls entered the room
“Extra classes got out early?” inquired Marco
“Yep,” replied Brooke, her light brown face set in a relaxed smile “Herbs and Medicine got cancelled,”
“Why,” asked Will trying to hide his relief
“A stag got into the herb racks,” she replied twirling her hair “You wouldn’t have anything to do with this would you?”
Will stifled a worried laugh “I could never have orchestrated that,”
“Well someone did,” said Lola “The menagerie is on the other side of campus, and there’s no way a wild deer got into school.”
“Sorry to interrupt,” said Alex “But which dorm are you?”
“Your’s silly,” replied Lola laughing “What did you think the other door was?”
“I don’t know,” replied Alex “An armory?”
“Might as well be,” exclaimed Marco stifling a laugh “They’ve got it trapped floor to ceiling,”
“Anyway we’re going to bed,” said Brooke.
“It’s not even dusk yet,” said Marco “What’s the rush?”
“We need our beauty sleep,” replied Lola.
Marco let out an exasperated sigh “of course you do.”
“Might as well follow suit,” said Alex “I’m still tired from my trip.”

Chapter 1: New

Metal clicked on stone as a boy dressed in leather ran through the courtyard to a massive wooden gate, a large eagle covered in gray feathers warbling indignantly from his shoulder.
“Oh shut up will you,” said the boy. “What are you, a mouse?”
The eagle immediately quieted itself and ruffled its large crest, a look of fury and shock clearly visible on its face. As the two finally reached the large door a man walked out to meet them a look of annoyance evident on his face
“Name?” he asked rather angrily.
“Alexander,” the boy replied. What’s his problem?
“Age?” said writing down notes on a wooden tablet.
“Seventeen,” Alex answered again.
“House?” he said continuing to write.
“Vasilev,” he said getting slightly annoyed.
“Familiar?” the man asked.
“Harpy Eagle,” Alex replied. And he’s annoying as ever
After a moment of thought the man finally said, “Northernmost dormitory, next to the menagerie,” handing him a map.
“Thank you,” said Alex passing through the main gates into a great hall.
He let out a sigh and opened his map.
After a moment he released his bird into the air and said, “Remember Saul, next to the menagerie.”
The bird gave a flat chirp as if frustrated by the lack of faith placed in him.

Short Story

A burst of fire spread from a small red carton of fuel nearly burning James’ hand to a crisp.
“Well...” Matthew says ”that could have been worse”
“Everything, could be worse” I say
“Hey, I’m supposed to be the pessimist” shouts James, the idiot who threw the match in.
We all burst out laughing.
“Yes James we know,” I say
Another burst of laughter finally quiets us.
“Well I have to get home.” I say checking my watch
“Already.” complains Matthew
“Ok, see ya.” says James.

I run towards the beach, towards home, as fast as I can laughing about my friends stupidity wonder what bright idea they'll come up with tomorrow.

I rush through the door and up the stairs deflecting my mothers questions with a single sentence: “not right now.”. I burst through the door to my sister and I’s bedroom and rush to my drawing setup: an Ipad with a drawing app on it and a computer filled with saved drawing tutorials. As I settle down to draw, the bible from my sisters pink bookshelf falls from its place on the leftmost side of the shelf. Now where could Jamie be? I wonder picking up the book, guess i’ll just ask when she gets home.

Should I continue Vendetta?

I've just been really busy with school and stuff, so I haven't had time to write, but also I think I lost the script I had for the entire book of Vendetta. eek. Soooooo idk if I even wanna continue, I've just lost inspiration for it yknow.
I post the chapters but I only get a few comments that say "Ooooo" or "this is great". And although I'm so grateful for the compliments, I'd like some real criticism sometimes. I promise I won't get mad unless you sound rediculous, oof.
.
If you think its good so far thanks for the support, there's like a 50% it'll either be discontinued or not. Good news though, I have had another story I've been working on for a while, I haven't published it though.
.
What do you guys think?
