It's been a while since I drew. I traced back that the last time I posted art here was in April; that's already five months ago. Lots of big things and events have been happening those past months when I stopped drawing. Funerals, weddings, engagements, and life's struggles were all factors of my absence in the world of art. And, oh, how I missed drawing! Things have settled down for now so I can continue drawing.
I'm sure there will be one of those days that I will be on hiatus again, but I will certainly always come back to drawing and creating arts because this is my passion. This is what makes my life beautiful. I love to draw and will always want to better myself at it.
God bless my journey in art.

I have just published If It's Not Me on ARTstreet. You may read it here https://medibang.com/book/mq2203081454580850008375003/ .
The comic is based on the lyrics of the Japanese song, It Wasn't Me by Riria. Since I had planned it to be less than 10 pages, I thought that perhaps I can be a bit ambitious by using purple shades for inking instead of the usual black and white manga-style. But it was SO TIRING! It took a lot more of my time to draw this comic than it should have because of the coloured shades.
Many times I think that maybe I should just use black and white instead. But still I keep convincing myself that the final product would be worth it. So I kept the purple shades. And in the end, it really was worth it! (ㅅ´ ˘ `)♡ I'm so glad I completed this comic with purple shades~ Now it looks more mellow and expresses more bittersweet romanticism.
I completed the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge successfully! To recap, I challenged myself to draw 12 different arts and post it daily until Christmas day. The theme of the arts is Christmas and the inspiration for it comes from the popular song '12 Days of Christmas'. I also featured the characters of my comics and mangas in the arts. ( ๑>ᴗ<๑ )
You may notice that art number 10 and above weren't posted to its corresponding day here on Medibang ARTstreet, but I assure you that those arts were posted on time on my Facebook page (therefore my challenge completion still counts).
I had fun doing the challenge and I look forward to the next Christmas challenge for year 2022~ ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و
My next project would be the Black Clover fanart contest and after that will be a long break from posting illustrations because I want to start a manga project. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
That's all for this year folks~ (≧∇≦)/ Merry Christmas 2021 and Happy New Year 2022! ☆:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:☆
I wanna do a 12 Days of Christmas challenge! For the next days until Christmas, I will post a different art relating to the popular Christmas song, 12 Days of Christmas. The subjects used will be the characters from my comics.

I've been thinking this for a long time now: I want an Editor. But perhaps, to be precise, I want someone who drives me and pushes me as a manga artist. I'm an amateur, so I need someone who helps me to progress and sharpen my art skills.
While I was working on a manga, I thought to myself how an editor would be very helpful and valuable to me. But I can't afford to pay an editor for myself, so the dream only become a comic meme. I came up with the comic meme "The Editor who Picked Me Up" based on the Anakin-Padme meme.
As a whole story, "The Editor who Picked Me Up" is about a strict editor who supervises a young rookie artist. The young artist couldn't pay to have a disciplinarian so the editor took it upon himself to build the young artist himself all on his expense; that's why he's usually grumpy and super strict.
Since I've never have an editor, I only based the stories on what I think it would be like.
The last topic I made was a month ago and its message is basically the same as this. I've been doing one-shot manga, comics, and web-comics more than illustrations (since I lean more to that art area), and that's why I've not been actively posting here and on my Facebook page. I've even come up with new comic ideas, which I know for sure is short-term ones, hahahahaha.
Again, I hope to be posting lots (but I don't promise this).
It's been at least 2 weeks since I posted something on this platform. I've been busy with other projects, mainly mangas. Illustrations are quick and nice; if I focus more on art illustrations, I could upload and share many of it. However, I like drawing mangas more, thus the less submission made to this platform.
Anyway, I hope to be actively posting my artworks here (for now) before I start on another manga project (in which case I become inactive again). ʕ⊙ᴥ⊙ʔ
Happy 7th Anniversary, dear Artstreet! I am excited with the campaign Artstreet has to celebrate its special month. The prizes give away are attractive too. I don't know if the prizes are Medibang Paint Pro brushes or tangible things, but either way I still want it.
However, as of today, which is already in the middle of the month of July, there are only about 400 entries to the campaign. And it is so very far from the prize I want the most, which is the Dragon Ball. I absolutely love Dragon Ball so any gifts relating to Dragon Ball I want to get my hands on as much as I could!
If by next week the number of entries does not reach the milestone for Dragon Ball prize, I'm gonna spam the 7th Anniversary Submission page with lots of arts! I really really really really want to have the prizes.
I read the interview of Liam Gray and Ody, and I absolutely adore their dynamic as writer/editor-manga artist! I want to have a partner editor too. I've always wanted to have a partner because I know I cannot go far into the manga-road-to-glory if I'm alone. My art is not superb (yet) and my experience still has a long way to go, but if you are an editor who is just starting out, perhaps we can team up and achieve great things together. I already have a manga-story in mind, but I couldn't expand its storyline alone.
I hope someday a strict editor will come and pick me up...

OMG, I am so thrilled and ecstatic! My arts have been featured on Medibang Artstreet at the 1 Hour Drawing Challenge page. This is my first award since joining this art community. I aimed for at least one of my arts to win any one of the theme. There are many talented artists who participated and have submitted beautiful arts, even more so better than mine.
I won the 7-days Participation Award. Yes, I won at participating, which is to submit arts throughout the period of the challenge/contest. I am proud of it. Not only one of my arts is displayed but ALL 7 of my arts were featured!
I may not have won in terms of the best art, but I won in terms of dedication. And every artist, illustrator, and creators can do it too~ I wish everybody the best in their passion in arts.
Medibang is giving out limited edition KIWAMI Brushes! It's free for only 24 hours so I quickly downloaded the brushes, not knowing whether I'll use them or not. There are 8 brushes but I downloaded 6 only because those brushes seem like the most probable I will use in the future.
My art entitled 'Sunny' is the first art to level up to 1. I'm super happy about it but at the same time it puzzles me how that art could have gotten the first level up, when I think that there are others of my art, which are more better. In all, I'm happy for it. Bless the hearts of those who have Liked and Favourited the Sunny art.
I saw the promotion of the contest late, about 1 week before the deadline. I thought it'd be fun to join since the judging criteria is creativity. I forwarded the championship information to my fellow artists who are not among the Medibang ArtStreet community, and they're happy to participate! It'd be fun to have submissions together. Their creativity and brilliance in art are superb, and I want us to grow artistically too. They submitted their artworks through my Medibang account; their social media platform address and IDs are in the description. Please check them out~
I'm working on my current comic project The Voice Only I Can Hear (TVOICH). Since I'm still a newbie in digital manga and comic, I need your constructive comments and helpful guidance in producing more valuable works. I thank you in advance that you do. Do have a pleasant day ahead.
I'm new to the digital art. Only started less than a year. I hope to receive guidance and support from fellow artists, illustrators, mangaka, and all people of art.
