Not only was the atmosphere drawn out incredibly well, but the emotions were also very well conveyed by the artist. I liked the way the characters were drawn so much that I ended up recommending it go to the top. I would like to see what would happen if the work was drawn in black and white.

Suzuki's Comment

It is a very impressive work even though the art was drawn lightly and the colors are pale. It seemed like even the person’s breathing was conveyed in these fantastic drawings where you can feel the light, wind, and temperature. What kind of story will unfold after this meeting (reunion)? I wanted to read what happens next, however I was very charmed by the artist’s kind worldview where the brilliant feeling of youth and slightly nostalgic feelings are mixed together. The artist has a very pleasant way of looking at people and the world and I’m really looking forward to seeing what kind of work they will draw after this. If I may add, I’d like to also read a story with scenes that are different than the distinctive style of the work, such as painful scenes that hit hard, romantic scenes that make your heart pound, and really silly and funny scenes in order to make use of the good qualities that are already present.

Rin's Comment

The artwork is insanely good. Their ability to depict the atmosphere of everyday life is amazing. It makes you read it even in scenes where there is nothing going on. The artist’s sense of color is superb as well and I was fascinated by it, especially the use of pink for the first double-spread. I definitely want to read the next warm-colored works created by this artist.

Nakano's Comment

If the artist polishes their ability to bring it together as a story, then their ability to convey emotions will shine even more!

The story is not really original, and it can even be said that it’s a common one, however it is very well organized. You can really feel the character’s emotions and I like that it doesn't make the end a simple one. The most important thing is that this work is incredibly well brought together as a one-shot.

    Suzuki's Comment

The way that the work is presented is well done and the tempo is perfect. It seems to have a theme that brings up mankind's eternal problems and I felt a shiver go down my spine when I read it. I think that this person could show their individuality in the work more with something like details such as the fashion and accessories, comedic elements and so on because the impression that I get is that it is slightly similar to the work of already existing artists.

    Rin's Comment

The work has specific colors and a tragic ending. It was sad and heartbreaking. This is an artist who is overflowing with a talent for drawing a character’s mental agony and pain. They bring all character’s emotions out and draw them in a cold way. I hope to read a story with a happy ending done by this artist in the future.

    Nakano's Comment

I can feel the strong convictions of the artist that were used to draw out the theme and this is an excellent work that makes you turn the pages until you reach the end.

The work unfolds like “Dark Angel” that starred Jessica Alba, or “The Bionic Woman”. I like the artwork. They are series, but isn’t that a good thing? This is a story that I would like to continue to read. It’s not a science fiction work, however I think this is also like “Nikita”. The work is a classic in that sense, but it also seems like it will make people want to read it.

    Suzuki's Comment

I really feel like I’ve seen a setting and story like this before and it didn’t feel very unique, however this person really has a talent for drawing. The contrast between the part right after the ominous and powerful figure transformed (?) and the part with the sacred space that is similar to ancient ruins (?) after it goes away was very impressive.

    Rin's Comment

This is an artist who has excellent drawing skills and it shows in the characters, background, and overall work. They drew a difficult situation and the bond between their characters very well. The cry of the character whose heart was in pain was well conveyed. However, the artist separated the pages in the action scenes too much, and I became concerned about the depth of the drama and the weak development of the story. I think this is an artist who can really sell their work if they put the feelings of their characters into the drama at the same level as they put their drawing skills and ability to present the story into it.

    Nakano's Comment

The artist’s ability to bring an image to mind with their drawing skills and their panel layouts are great, but it’s too bad that the artwork looks like something I’ve seen before...

The artist is really good at drawing people's faces. The differences between things in the work, including the character’s face shapes, expressions, ages, etc., were drawn incredibly well. They not only drew tough and scary facial expressions, but they also did the girl's gentle and adorable expressions very nicely and there are a lot of parts in the work that catch the eye. I think that this is a person who is really good at observing and imagining people’s expressions. The story is already great, but I want the artist to draw a rich human drama that is packed with various kinds of conflict to make it even better.

      Rin's Comment

The story has an unhappy ending, but I was surprised that it does. It’s a one-shot that is packed with the all the excellence of a drama. The surprise that's created with the nice development of the tempo and reunion of the main characters is really fantastic. The artwork was delightful too. I wanted the work to progress in a way that would exaggerate the feeling that it leaves after the unhappy ending though.

      Nakano's Comment

The artist’s ability to organize the story so that the reader can enjoy it, from the hook at the beginning of the work to end of it, was incredible. Out of all the entries in the contest, this work's level of completion is the best!

The part that explains everything about the situation at the beginning of the work is a big minus in my eyes. It doesn’t draw the reader in very well. So think of a story structure, like the one for “Resident Evil", that draws people in even though there is no explanation.

      Suzuki's Comment

I feel like the artist was very determined to create the images that they wanted to draw. This person seems like someone who will draw artwork and images that people have never seen before so I’m really looking forward to their future development. However, the protagonist became a supporting character in the middle of the story, so I would have liked her activity and growth to be drawn a bit more carefully. It is also important to consider whether or not a woman is being drawn in an alluring way. In addition, I think they will become an even more fascinating artist when the can convey, not only strength, but also a woman's gentleness and sexiness as well.

      Rin's Comment

I really feel the influence of Sui Ishida's style in the artwork, however it's a current kind of style. The basic drawing skills, action scenes, composition, and overall work are on a very high level. They seem like an artist who can get lots of readers with just the artwork. The artist drew scenes that really stuck in my mind. That's why I feel like they will be an great artist when they can also draw the character’s emotions and the drama of the work as well.

      Nakano's Comment

The character's movements are rigid, however the artwork is convincing so they should put emphasis on things that are conveyed through images without depending on the explanation text.

      Aritō's Comment

It’s a romantic comedy with action that takes place in a parallel universe. The panel layout makes it easy to read and the organization and drawing skills are at a high level. However, there are many images that have been drawn from a point that's far away, so I would like some variety in the distance. I want the artist to create a work that makes good use of their drawing ability.

      Suzuki's Comment

The quality of the artwork is really good. The idea of a deity's power changing according to how much people believe in them is an interesting one and the way that the artist drew the girls, including the deity, was fantastic. I think artist should research coloring techniques a bit more, but I feel they have a strong 'spirit for service' and will be able to succeed soon.

      Rin's Comment

The tempo of the work is great for a comedy. The world of deities and religion, as well as the protagonist and heroin, were easy to understand and made the work easy to read. However, it’s unfortunate that the development lacked an element of surprise to it. I felt the artist's ability to draw the action scenes was somewhat inadequate. I think that this is an artist who will grow if they continue to draw, so I would like to read the works that they've drawn after they've improved their drawing skills.

      Nakano's Comment

The design of the work is one that is popular with a lot of people and the female character is charming, but the old-fashioned style and direction of the work weren’t great.
