In short, the whole balance of the image is wonderful. The artist has drawn a lot of the detailed areas, and each aspect - the colors, composition, characters - are all spectacular on their own, and together on the whole produce a charming sense of unity.
I have nominated it for the Gold Prize.

I feel greatly honored to have received the award.
I carefully created each clothing, expression and character one by one in this piece.
I spent much time making slight adjustments to the hue, so I am glad that many people have been able to see it. I will use this encouragement to further devote myself.Host's Comment
I can feel the different characters of the 7 lambs and see the scenery and imagine the story in my head, like the oldest lamb hiding the youngest in a wall clock to protect him.
After reading the story, it makes me want to look at the cover again because it's just so well drawn. -

I am extremely happy to be chosen for the Silver Prize! I would like to express my gratitude to the MediBang management team and judges for acknowledging my work.
At first, I wanted to draw a princess wearing an extravagant and fleeting dress, but for some reason the moment I saw Momotaro, I decided on that instead!
Momotaro may be a fairy tale, but my personal image of it is darker. Momotaro is a gallant and strong protagonist, so I drew him in a cool manner. By doing that, it made the animals look strong too, didn't it?Host's Comment
By drawing Momotaro, an old Japanese tale, with a modern touch, it feels like a completely new Momotaro. This cover of Momotaro makes me want to read the story once again.

Thank you for nominating me silver prize! I am very happy. I would also like to thank all the people who reviewed and commented on my piece. I will use this experience to work harder from now!

The use of gentle colors and touch of the picture gave it a cute imagery. Thought was put into the font, so that it would match the picture. Light from the window reflecting off the train and the stars floating in space were snazzy and made it an exciting cover.

Thank you for choosing my work for the Silver Prize out of so many other wonderful pieces!
The Mermaid Princess was a story that I've loved since I was a child, and I thought it'd be great if I could communicate the story's gentleness while I was drawing it.
To receive a prize for drawing an illustration of a story that I love makes me very happy.
I will use this prize as encouragement to continue creating more artwork in the future.Host's Comment
The watercolor touch which seems a perfect fit for a nursery tale makes the mermaid charming and as if it could disappear at any moment. Her eyes glaring at the other side of the sea show a strong yearning and pain; the light red and stone figure evoke a sense of love isn't easy, and gives off the vibe of an adolescent girl and a lovable impression.

I'm very pleased to receive the Silver Prize from out of so many other beautiful pieces!
Drawing this picture in itself was fun and I learned a lot of new things as I discovered places to work on in the process of doing it. It was really fascinating.
I think this prize is the greatest encouragement.
I will do my absolute best to continue drawing better works from now on.
To the company that sponsored so many contests and the people who liked my piece, thank you very much!Host's Comment
The balanced picture and dynamically vivid colouring really portrays the celestial beauty. The contrasting dark background to the pure white beauty accentuates both of their presences while the scattered petals and falling pearls truly projects the evanescence of the beauty deep in eternal sleep.

Recipient's Comment
I am super happy to have received the prize for this contest!
I chose Romeo and Juliet from the very beginning because I love beautiful and crushing love stories.
The composition is something I personally liked and wanted to draw, so I made the background blank on purpose. (This made it easy to put in the title; I gave the two main characters armor and a gown to differentiate them.)
The final product achieved the effect that I wanted to portray. I'm happy if you like it!Host's Comment
The design of the clothing and combination of fresh colors are spectacular and beautifully arranged on the whole, giving a pronounced beauty. I think the vibrant composition and calm demeanor of the character makes the image emanate the evanescence of the story.

I feel very honored to have my work selected for the Silver Prize from amongst so many other spectacular pieces.
As I have always wanted to work as an artist, being selected for the Silver Prize this time has encouraged me even more to strive in this path. I will continue to devote myself into art everyday without backing off. Thank you very much.Host's Comment
I felt it had a gorgeous beauty to the image, reminiscent of Mucha, who was a famous graphic designer of Art Nouveau. The gentle colors make the finish into one that evokes the impression of a fairy tale.

I drew this, wondering whether I could create a more charming Momotaro, free from the image that we become accustomed to in our youth.
I would be truly glad if adults who've grown up reading and listening to the story feel my image is gallant, awe-inspiring and cool.Host's Comment
The title frame made me picture a traditional Japanese bookbinding and the touch of the rough brush made me feel the very Japanesque style in the story of Momotaro. Like vertical text running from right to left, you follow where Momotaro and his group are looking, creating a sense of anticipation to read the text. As a cover, it is perfect.

I am extremely happy to receive this wonderful prize.
This work is my rendition of the signature 221B apartment that appears in the story.
I wanted to draw the charm of the smell of cocaine and different drugs, and Sherlock Holmes' thoughts permeating.Host's Comment
The little objects have been drawn delicately with retro colors, and the pop of the characters match perfectly, giving it a flashy finish. I thought the use of green for the shadows improved the view of the world and felt the it was a charming image.

Thank you for selecting my piece out of so many others as the Silver Prize, and giving me such a prestigious award. I am estactic to be able to win such an award using a novel that I love as the subject. I had to go through much trial and error in attempting to have the mermaid's hair and tail drifting in the water.

The entire image produces a spectacular atmosphere. Much effort was put into choosing the right font and I felt the artist paid particular attention to specific details of the image.

Thank you very much! I`m really happy that i got silver prize, it was more them 900 drawings participating and it really made my day. I choose "The Jungle Book" because i enjoyed the story a lot, reminds me of my childhood and the nature makes me keep calm, breath and think. In this drawing i tried to pass the mystery behind the boy and the jaguar, i wanted the spectator to think what would happen if the boy follow him, what is happening in the scene. Well, while i was drawing something that really inspired me was searching and looking at some pieces of art in Google and sites like MediBang, DA, Pixiv, etc. Again, i'm extremely happy, and thank you MediBang for this opportunity!

With this one image alone, you sense the anticipation, anxiety and fear in the story, and I feel the depth in this drawing. I believe this image will draw different emotions out of the people looking at it depending on who they are.
The runners up which showed great potential, but just fell short of winning.
