Medi-chan's clothing was inspired in a "yukata" since it is a traditional costume used at Japanese summer festivals. Yet, the clothing has unique small details as the openings in the sleeves and a shorter skirt, making it a more fun outfit.
The features of the dress remember Medi-chan's favorites desserts; with a trapeze shape of the pleated skirt (based on the appearance of pudding) and a long buffed sleeve (inspired in a cream puff). The lanterns and flowers in twigs were chosen as print off to complete the final art since it is one of the most popular icons of the Japanese summer festivals.
The colors are all calm, highlighting the lanterns and flower.
The ribbon bow on Medi-chan's hair and her long "tabi" are the final touches for a cute costume.
