What's your opinion on how art style changed throughout the series?

Takagi and Conan were so CUTE in the old style! ( ╥ω╥ )
The old style was cute, rounded and puffy. But it had a problem with minor character design (of the suspects, murderers, criminals etc). They had the same faces. I remember when one of the suspects looked like Araide.
New style adds more seriousness to the show. And I know that Tagaki looks canonically like this, but for some reason I think he looks cutter in the manga than in the anime (but I still love him with all my heart). And in the new style Conan reminds me of a cat. (•^•) Also, adult characters look better (but kids characters would look more like kids in the old style).
