Gawai Dayak is a post-harvest celebration that includes a series of traditional ceremonies as a form of gratitude to God for the abundance of harvests.
The purpose of implementing Gawai Dayak is to: maintain the integrity of the unity of the Dayak community, maintain identity, and cultivate personality as a Dayak Tribe by knowing, maintaining and preserving the traditions of their ancestors.
