So, I think this background is pretty much done. I'm not entirely sold on how I did the water, the cage light and cables look acceptable I think, and I just did the grassy hill with a low opacity canvas brush. Let me know if anything looks like it needs to be improved, because after all, this is my first time doing a background and I could use any feedback. Next step is to actually draw Earth-chan on another layer, and I'm not sure how long it'll be until that gets done. I might put up a rough posed sketch of her to get feedback before fine-tuning it.
