so i rewatched all the toy stories
hey so i like reviewing movies :D. it's fun and it keeps my mind off shit. so I thought I review all of the toy stories. Im going in order of movies so this review will go over the first one. I know I'm an artist and it's kinda weird that I'm reviewing movies when I draw, but I do wanna direct a movie one day! Let me know what you think of these movies in the comments. Toy story one is a bit of a weird one. The movie is really great and it has some great moments but i just think it's not the best. Let's address my biggest problem with the movie. Sid. Sid is such an annoying antagonist that i hated a lot of the time in his room. It was a nice change of pace from nice little andy to a kid whose mom doesn't care enough about him, but he was just so annoying and not really threatening. He felt more gross than scary and the outdated animation wasn't helping his case either. I kinda which the movie's antagonist was about the creepy toys Sid had. Like how about Sid is a good kid and woody and buzz think they're gonna get help, but the creepy toys want them to stay and try to cannibalize them or something. I don't know man; I just wish it was about the toys instead. I did like that moment where all the toys traumatize sid for life. Bro if that was me I would have ended my life right then and there. However just because the 2nd act is weak doesn't mean it's out of the game yet. The climax of the movie is outstanding and I just love seeing buzz and woody get to know each other. I know some people think Woody is a real dick in this movie but it makes sense. He's been Andy's favorite toy for so long, so when a new toy (who's also real dumb) gets favorited by andy; it makes sense he would act out of place. I think manslaughter is a bit much eyy... I like the other characters as well. This movie is really funny! It's got so many great laughs and jokes and it's just *imitates explosion* Fucking hilarious. This movie does a really good job of world-building and seeing how these communicate, talk, etc. So while this movie has it's flaws and it's very overrated, it's a good movie and it's neat. It's no Shrek 2, but it's no boss baby either. It's a movie that falls in the middle of bad and great. I suggest watching all the toy stories cuz it's just nice to sit back and binge-watch.
