This is my gear that I use for making most of my traditional art. Gear/materials are very important, the more the merrier, with the acceptance that there is such a thing as 'too much'. Although materials are important, it is also important to remember that they don't make an artist good or bad, the artist does.
Art is a pure form of translating a picture from a creative mind or reference onto a canvas. In that sense, art alone is beautiful. Of course you can't have that beauty without the artist.

My guitar was in the background and I had decided to add it into the picture, otherwise it was propped against the wall.

Also, I just received a blank canvas and have some complications trying to figure out what to depict on it, so I'm asking everyone else. What would you like to see me do with the blank canvas?

My thoughts so far:
My sona on a black background and his name in Katakana/Kanji in white offset to the left of him
M4a1 Custom (either the 9mm SMG version or a different custom) on a gunmetal background
Something else (one of your suggestions)
