Technoblade walked around his house, flipping on the lights. It was eerily silent aside from his footsteps. Normally it wasn't this quiet; there was no soft guitar coming from his brother's room, nor could he hear the static of his father's radio. Even the usual ringing in his ears was a soft buzz.
Something was wrong. Very, very wrong. Techno hurried throughout the levels of the building, checking every room and turning on all the lights, even calling out for someone, anyone. The only creatures in the building was Techno and his dogs. No one else was home.
*No one else is home*, he thought to himself. He was alone, and everyone had left. They had left *him*. Their rooms seemed tidier and emptier, as if they had packed up and left. The birds and guitar weren't even here.
As each thought entered his mind, the pit in his stomach grew more and more. Technoblade had been backing away from the rooms and into the kitchen without even realizing it. He shakily got a glass of water in an attempt to calm himself, but his throat was too tight for him to swallow any of it.
He set the glass down and managed his way to a chair. Techno needed to sit down; his legs felt weak. His body started to shake even more than before, and his face grew hot while his eyes burned. A slight sob escaped it's way past his lips.
A medium-sized dog soon found itself with Techno. The only reason the man noticed the animal was because it was licking his hand and trying to get its way onto the seat with Techno.
The animal got Techno to focus on something aside from the dread filling him, and soon Technoblade was busy with the dog. Another one soon appeared and went in to give Techno a kiss on the cheek.
The pink-haired man started to chuckle and was entirely distracted from his intrusive thoughts about being alone.
