Tw: contains talk about sexual assault
I hate to be the one to possibly cause drama, but this does not sit right with me. The artist Eden_Mint aka The Nothing has done several things in the past that I don't think are okay, such as tracing, stealing designs, lying about stopping, etc. but the description of their latest post is just so insensitive. They talked about how one of their characters in their words “desperately wants to rape Eden and marry him, and have children with him by force” obviously, this is EXTREMELY not okay. Its one thing to have rape in a characters story as a way to vent out trauma, or feelings (as long it isnt glorifying it) but this does not feel like a way to vent. They said it so casually, like it was just a average, normal thing to say your ocs have a relationship like that. They also didn’t include any trigger warnings for the topic, which isn’t thoughtful because the topic can hurt so many people. They also just continued on with their description as if it was just fine to say something like that. I dont know if im just sensitive, but this feels wrong to me and i want to see how other people feel about this.
