Does anyone have any advice

For writing better?
I see people write these little excerpts online and they’re so poetic and smooth I want to smother my face in a pillow and scream.
I know I’m not describing this very well, but does anyone know how to write like this? Or at least does anyone have any advice for getting better at writing?
Should I study poetry? Does anyone have any good poems for me to study?

I'm not exactly a writer- Though I do have fun with it sometimes. But I know there are these "rules" (make or break them) for smoother-sounding sentences in stories. Things like sensory language can help readers immerse themselves in a scene (use smell, sight, colours, and touch to your advantage), and there's alliteration techniques (example: sweet smile, wonderful world, cold catacombs) and more techniques!
I recommend looking up "different language techniques" on Google, and take a look at what I'm talking about =>

Hi! I think some advice would be to practice, it took me ages to like write fanfics or something but practice helped me or reading others writing to see how you can adapt it into your own writing!
