Something I think is an issue.

I feel like I shouldn't be talking about issues.
And I'm not trying to sound poor
But I want to become comfortable speaking my opinion again.
So I thought this would be an appropriate topic to start (no this will not be a common thing at all)

I wanted to bring up how people shouldn't be offended for a certain group of people when they arent even in that group...I understand if it's actually problematic but when you have literally that group of people saying it's fine or they find it funny then like.
Unless you are part of the group yourself or understand it from that group's perspective you shouldn't be getting upset on their behalf

They have a voice as well, if it's an issue with them- they will and have the right to speak up on it themselves.

This is a general issue itself but me talking about this is coming from issues in certain communities, especially in cases like the Genshin Community, since its become much more toxic in recent times.

Calling a character in a way that's similar but completely different, not to make fun of the name or anything like that...but as a joke on how it sounds similar to an English name or joke about the common mispronouncing- (Like how so many people call Zhongli "John Lee" which people of that group say its funny)- is something that really isn't what these people are making it to be.

Some people make jokes of a person's name- it's a general thing- some people get annoyed by it sometimes it's really by preference.

But when they're people speaking FOR these groups without actual responses from the group themselves is just wrong in my opinion
