I haven't been feeling myself lately. In the art region, I mean. I know I posted something 4 days ago about my insecurities of my art "styles." But the truth is, none of them made me happy, I couldn't find that special part about my art that made me unique. Then, yesterday, I couldn't draw. I couldn't make a successful piece.
I found myself making all my posts private.
I found myself looking up how to make a style.
I found myself taking another day break from drawing.
I found myself taking notes on my favorite professional artists.
I found myself failing.
That was until I opened up to my friend. I had just made a pretty bad sketch. But it was the best sketch I made that day, at least the best three. I asked her which one she liked the best, and then I found myself using those notes and making a style. Of course, I didn't use a face because I'm still trying to figure that out, but I made a successful piece! No, I didn't do this for attention, but it caught some people worrying about me. I will eventually re-post my speed paints and maybe some of my favorite drawings but for now, I have my style.
