I've been doing digital art for quite some time now but I'm still uncertain about this. I think there's a benefit to both. If I use 1 multiply layer, I can finish illustrations faster and I can have a more consistent contrast of shadow. However, sometimes I want the clothes to have a different contrast of shadow to the skin. That's where multiple multiply layers for shading is useful. Also, in my opinion, you get to use multiple colors as the shadow when you use multiple multiply layers to give your illustrations more variety in shade of colors.
Please correct me or add lacking information to my statements above. There could be some inaccurate information there, they're just my opinion based on my personal observation.

Hello, I'm trying to learn how to boost my art's engagement on social media. I create anime illustrations and manga. I would like to learn about the overall best time to post art on social media that will allow a lot of people to see the art. If I have to be more specific, I would prefer a time wherein Japan and Western users would be able to see the art. A time wherein they check and are active on social media. Yesterday, I tried to post on a weekday at 5:00 pm Japan (GMT+9). My art didn't do well unlike the weekends. Yesterday was a bit of an experiment since I don't really post art on weekdays. I realized that it was around midnight in America at the time so it probably affected the engagement.
In short, I would like to know when are the best times to post art on Weekdays and Weekends. Preferably one that would allow Japanese and Western audiences to see the art.
I'm sorry if my english was a bit messy and please let me know if there was anything wrong with my post, thank you!
