Tips for Drawing! (1)

I will share one tips from time to time since I'm too busy to make new artworks (I'm in my final semester, I need to graduate lol). So here's my first tips:

1) Learn all the basic things first before you develop your own style.

but how?

Use reference. Reference will guide you from repeating the same mistake again and again (from artline, perspective and balance). If you use imagination only, then you will never grew from your mistake and it will be hard to identify your problems on your own.

But remember! Don't use trace to practice drawing❌ Because tracing will hinder yourself from finding your own art style. Even worse, you won't be able to draw anything without tracing.

Tracing is only used when you want to practice painting and colouring⭕To practice drawing, use reference and your art will be good in time.

After you've truly mastered all the basics then you're free to draw from your imagination because your imagination has level up to awesome level with no mistake✨
