It used to be so wholesome here and we've led up to this? Are you serious?
What happened to artists supporting each other? I know this community can do better.
Today I was scrolling thru my topics expecting something nice but I see topics talking about transphobia. Why? This is so sad and it's even more sad because one of my closest friends is trans.
I thought this was a nice community.

So im usually drawing from imagination and most of the characters u would see me draw in real life or digitally are not real people i know of. It just aggravates me when someone sees my drawing and asks who it is. AND SAYING ITS NO ONE AND I DREW IT FROM IMAGINATION GETS REALLY REALLY TIRING AND OLD.
I know most people dont MEAN to make me angry and they are just curious but I do not want to live like this no moe.
The next person who asks me this question when im drawing from imagination I will PROBABLY say "its joe" and then pull a joe mamma joke if they dont already complete my sentence.
Reason I say probably is because there are certain people I cannot say this to like my sister or else shes gonna cry most likely
This mainly only happens to me IRL so if yall just dont ask me this on this platform you should be good 👍

My art is just not being seen that well you know what I'm saying?
I've said this like a bajillion times, I know.
But it's really sad. I know my art is not the greatest (like really not the greatest there are a lot of things that could be improved). However, I personally think it could do better on a more known platform. The problem is I probably won't be allowed on a platform like DeviantArt or something
Do yall have any suggestions for platforms I can go to? Please let me know
P.S. Yes I will still be posting on ART Street but if I find a new platform I may not post more frequently.

how i shade skin tutorial
I see that almost all y'all artists have like a main OC. Like an OC you make and they have their own identity and everything. Like their backstory, family, traumas, and so on.
So I was thinking, I might make my very own OC and come up with a nice story for it. No, they may not look like me because I don't think any of you have COLOURED HAIR like your ocs either.
(I've never done a main OC for myself I've only done ocs for oc challenges)

im in an online french class and iM 28 ASSIGNEMTNS BEHIND EHAYTS THEH EHCK
Skin colour = least favourite colour
Eye colour = Your shirt colour
Hair colour = your favourite colour
Clothing colour = the colour of the last thing you ate
If you have a pet, the name of the pet determines what the character is named
If you don't, your friends name determines their name
If you have any accessories or garments you wear habitually, add those
We are going to give your character a weapon. If you were born in the the months January, February, or December, you get a sword. If you were born in the months March, April, or May, you get a nice battle hammer. If you were born in September, October, or November, you get a battle axe. Finally, if you were born in June, July, or August, you get magic.
You all also get an element to correspond to your weapon and character. If your eye colour is brown/hazel, you get Water. If your eye colour is blue, you get Air. If your eye colour is green, you get Nature. If your eye colour is grey, you get Fire. If you have another eye colour, you can choose your own element (nothing too OP and you can't choose an element from the other eye colours)
