Isnt it amazing that we can create ANYTHING? Anything at all? Every line can be placed ANYWHERE.
And art just GETS to people. People FEEL when they see our creations. And we can draw ANYTHING, we can make people feel EVERY single emotion.
It's hard though, because obviously we haven't seen everything, so everything unimaginable is just a mess to us. Plus it IS pretty hard to create something earth has never seen before- But we practically can do it.

I absolutely LOVE the colours! They are so vibrant and they pop! I think they chose the colours very well!

I also am in LOVE with the poses! I can never do poses well ;w; They take FOREVER to get right! So I find it so impressive when someone makes such cool poses like these!
The character itself is REALLY cute too!! They do such awesome designs >=3
AMAZING background too! I love that the background is darker, so it's easier to see the character. A lot of the time, both the background and the character blend in, because they both have the same saturation or brightness. Loved how you kept this in mind while making this vibrant illustration!

In BLENDER!
It's a tad low quality, but my computer crashed whenever I tried to subdivide the torso- So the head is the ONLY good quality part- It's alright though, this was just an assignment.
This is the 2nd sculpt I've made! I made a donut before, and I tried to sculpt a siren without a tutorial, but I did get some tips off of Youtube.
I might do a paint over of this? Not sure..

I'm trying to spread out my posting, like.. posting once a week so then my engagement improves, because I'm a bit of a dead artist even though I'm drawing SO much-
I really wish I can be as.. popular as I was last year. But hey, this year I was just kind of learning art more than actually doing full-fledged art. Sometimes you just have years like that. I hope next year I'll be better..
I cannot be mad at the fact that I'm getting significantly less likes and views and whatnot. I mean, I just can't draw fast enough! Most of this is on me since I'm not posting once a week.
I did tell myself that I can focus on learning, and since I've got a job and I'm working on my physical weaknesses, I haven't been creating much for you guys, or for me either. But it still makes me feel like I haven't progressed when my art gets less noticed. Can't escape the social media aspect of art can you?
Maybe stress is making me feel this way.. Almost like everything is a grind for me atm. I have many different parts of my life that I do, and they are ALL at the grinding stage XD- Sounds funny.

that I've learned from binge-watching dozens of art content >=3
And also this gives me the excuse to write things down so I can remember them-
I will add some of my practices here that are examples for some of the tips I'm talking about.
1. Stay in your comfort zone (MOSTLY). Too much challenge burns you out.
2. Practice from real life often. This helps you understand how to simplify things to your liking.
3. OBSERVE. Observe real life, observe references, observe other artists. USE YOUR EYES!
4. Do personal art studies and copy from your favourite artists (Don't post your studies as your own art).
5. And copy from like.. 10 artists. Pick and choose little characteristics of their artstyles
6. Have a CLEAR, step by step process that you do. I need to work on this one.
7. If you are always frustrated doing art, stop when you have fun. This will leave you feeling like you left your work in a good mood, and not in a bad, frustrated mood. It tricks your brain into liking to make art.
8. Look back at your old work. You've come so far, don't give up!
9. Follow the LARGE, MEDIUM, SMALL rule. Draw large details first, then medium details, then small details. This applies for sketching, doing line art, and painting.
10. When shading, think of everything as VOLUMES. Cubes, spheres, cylinders. Your knee is a misshapen sphere, your torso is a misshapen cylinder. Your legs are cylinders. Your hand is a cube. Refine refine!
11. Make your shadows REDDER, or BLUER, than the base colour. For the skin, do a redder shadow. NOT BLACK. Only shade with black if you're going to colour it. (Or if you're doing grayscale)
12. Make the focal point brighter and/or more saturated. For example, make the face brighter. This will bring your eyes to the important area!
13. Have EMPTY SPACE in your drawings. Not every part of the illustration has to be chaotic.
14. Less is more. Simple is lovely looking. This is a good tip for artists who feel stressed about their details.
15. And stop drawing SO MANY SMALL DETAILS! Who will look there? Not many! Only detail your focal point. Their nail doesn't need to look ultra-realistic!
16. Zoom out more, or paint with a bigger brush. This is good for sketching and painting. It's easy to get stuck on details.
17. Occasionally, draw in your comfort zone and let loose. Have fun, relax, and be a happy artist!
18. Do gesture drawing. Set a timer for 30 seconds, get a pose online, and draw it. This will help you with your flow in your poses!
19. Draw volumes. Sketch spheres, cubes, cylinders, sphere merged into a cylinder, and other variants! Shade them if you'd like.
20. Draw with your whole arm, not with your wrist. Don't want wrist problems do ya?
21. Have contrasting values. Make sure you have a good range of values in your art! A good way to see this is to put a Colour Blending Mode layer over the top of everything, and make the canvas white on that layer. Your drawing will look grayscale until you hide that Colour layer.
22. Have better back posture. Don't slouch too much!
23. Don't practice every day. And don't draw too much.
24. Participate in contests and challenges that you feel confident to do!
25. Finally, have art friends! Have MOTIVATING art friends. You become who you're around with.

So...
That's wholesome-
But anyways, I learnt how to draw shoes and legs, which are the EXACT things I NEVER draw XD
Here's how I copied these drawings ALMOST exactly (look closely and almost nothing is exact).
Step 1, zoom out a HEAP, and sketch the overall figure, your goal is to make the silhouette, and then zoom in slightly to make the face (The sketch shouldn't look clean, AT ALL, thick brush and messy lines is perfect at this stage!)
Step 2, make a cleaner sketch, and ACTUALLY try and copy, you can zoom in, out, sideways, reverse flip turn it over slap ANYTHING, free-zoom. Just dont spend too long on ONE. SINGLE. DETAIL. If you are struggling to make, for example, the face look the same as your reference, just flick your eyes back and fourth, reference, drawing, reference, drawing. Do that for a few seconds and then magic will poof and you can see your mistakes!
Step 3, LINEARTTT~
Make some areas thicker and darker where there are shadows (inner thighs, neck, etc), do thinner lineart for INSIDE the silhouette, personally I forget to do that- And just dont get worried over small details, just make your drawing look similar and good!
These can take from an hour to 2 hours, so it's ALOT of copying.
BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY...

I haven't been working on any lore ;w; And that sucks because I think lore is so fun! My OC is called Nazara, they are based off the Evil Eye (Nazar). The evil eye can mean a lot of things, especially in different religions and cultures. So I think the character has a lot of potential to be pretty interesting XD
